how long you been growing these babies?
I guess about a month. I really should have kept a better time log.
yeah they look fine to me, just keep doing what your doing, could maybe do with a little more light, but couldnt we all, iv just started myself, posted just before you, mine are about a week old
yours looks good. i'm also using flourescent light. i have no freakin clue of what I'm doing. i've got seven plants...they look about the same as the one in the pics i posted. hope they'll turn out okay.
do they look abit skinny? when do they fatten up or start filling out?
how many watts you got on them, and how big your space?
i've got them on the side of my desk (about a 46"x22" space) and the wattage is 25. pretty low i guess. i'm learning as i go so that's why i'm here. i'm thinking about moving them to my attic but i'll have to get some supplies before i do.
yeah wattage is a bit low but hey, if it works...
you want an enclosed space really, so you can have the walls reflecting the light so you can make the best of the light you got, yourll need somewhere for them to be completelly dark when it comes to flowering in a while, 25 i guess you mean flourescent? mine are enclosed and are on 100 wats of flourescent and theire doing fine so...
Those plants are small and lanky for a month old. They also look like they could be heavily Sativa... brick bagseeds?
BUT they are growing so you're on top of it.
Give them more light and notice that they are getting a little pale... combiation of poor light and that they are ready for some fertilizer.
Get at least a 100w equivalent CFL swirly light on that thing like pronto and you will notice better growth fast.
is heavily Sativa a bad thing? what do u mean by brick bagseeds? i got the seeds out of some weed that a friend gave me try and thought i'd try my hand at growin some. i'm a tard when it comes to all the differences, i just like to smoke it.
It's not necessarily a bad thing but can make indoor growing harder because of the large size and long flowering times associated with that genus.
By brick bagseed I mean the seeds that you find in commercial brick weed... depending on your area and the time of year, bricked commercial is likely to come from Mexico or Central America, where the farmers choose sativas for their crops. So think back to what the weed looked like... was it really pancaked? That would indicate having been bricked.
But anyway you can still grow a sativa inside! It's just not quite as simple. You have to keep on top of pinching it back while it vegges so you don't end up with a tree- well, actually you woulnd't end up with a tree because the plant would die from lack of light first. For indoors, COMPACT SHORT plants are pretty important. Go hang out in cultivation and have a look.
Happy growin'!
