Hey-
I recently got my first bong. It is glass and about 1.5 feet. Very nice.
The dilemma is that my parents do not know I smoke, and I don't intend on letting them know anytime soon.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or ideas on where is a good hiding place for such a thing?

it depends on ur computer, but if it will fit...u can open up the back of the computer and leave it in there

Theres not many hiding places for an object that size. You know your house better than we do. Do you ahve any crawlspaces? Can you push open the cieling? How obtrusive are your parents? I'd suggest just putting it in a cardboard box of an old electronic item you bought. It just looks like you never bothered to throw the box away.
I keep all my smaller stuff in a computer game box tucked away and all my bigger stuff my xbox box(the cardboard it came in). YOu can fit it on a comp case, back of a large amp, back of a speaker.
1.5 feet, mate if u wanted something to conceal from your parents dont you think it wouldve been smarter to get something smaller, my first couple of bongs were easy to hide,
my first one was shaped like yoda, i told my folks it was a money box, they bought it, i had it in plain site on my shelf, though i hid the pipes and cone piece.......
my second one was like a small glass jar, it had a rubber lid to put on tup then a cone piece and a small tube to breath from in there as well....
so yeah, buying a big one, while it may look impressive is pretty impractical and even stupid, next time go for something smaller.
for now though, get a backpack or some bag that you dont use anymore and that no one would ever miss, wrap ure bong up in old newspaper, put it in bag, hide bag in the back of your closet, or somewhere no one would see it......
you may also want to hide your cone piece and any other bits and pieces seperately, say one day u wanna smoke a bong but you cant get to yours for whatever reason, if you can get to the cone piece then all u gotta do is make a hole in a plastic bottle and your good to go

Just put it in a old shoebox and then stash it somewere that collects dust. They wont open it. THats what i do with dutch guys usually. lol

for now i got a temporary hiding place. In a bag in a basement closet. But I kind of want it in a more conviant place, closer to me. thanks for the suggestions!:rastasmoke:

In your attic/basement...only if your family rarely goes up/down there. But if it is discovered, you could claim that it was there before yall moved in.
Do your parents ever go in the attic? As a kid I had a box of porn in my attic in an old brown box when I was a kid. The only hidden thing they never found. My attic was easy to get to though. What ever. It worked for my porn collection.

Yeah, cars are pretty good. I hide mine inside a guitar case, and it works well.

Think of places that you wouldnt think of first, get high and hide that shit, and MAKE SURE YOU WRITE WHERE YOU HID IT
keep hiding it in the same spot, and chances are you ahve to be high to find it cause it will be a retarted spot
what i've done is this
my bowls and spoons are put in a lego castle i build a long time ago thats sitting on my dresser
my herb goes into a baggie then into this huge pill container wich is placed inside a hollowed out part of snake stuffed animal
my double bubbler is in my bass amp
evrything else that i dont need right away is all in one big box taht i put on the very top of my closet, in the corner covered by an old leather coat
corner of the closet, hang some long pants or a bathrobe infront of it. put some boxes around the front. get a backpack tuck it in the corner and puts something infront and ontop of it. Hide it between your bed and the wall, just make sure to empty the water before you stash it, should it fall over the smell will give you away. depends on your room really. not to get on you but you should have thought where to hide it before you bought it. just a thought for next time ok. i hide a 3 footer under my bed for years but it wasn't glass and i drained it after each use, again slide boxes or other items around it, but don't make it look like it's hiding something.
