Exactly what the title says.
I have a few dream careers. My top choice is being a game designer. I love playing video/computer games and I love thinking of new games or ways to make a game better. Sometimes I also think of interesting or weird films/animated films that I would love to see (make).
So, are there any interesting careers that you would like to have, even if you're already doing something else?

I've always aspired to be a physician. Which is why I'm in medical school. But to be honest, I'm exhausted at the moment. Right now, I'm having fantasies about being a farmer or a floral arranger. . . .
I really don't know, and thats a big problem at the moment. Right now I'm stuck in a dead end retail job, I want to go back to school, but only for 6 months tops....but I don't know what i want?? :(
Honestly, the idea of working, period, makes me sick. I just don't like the idea of being stuck somewhere I don't want to be for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Especially when there's SO much going on in the world. I would much rather be out, soaking it all in.
I've got about a year or so left until I get my Bachelorâ??s in Graphic Design, and I'm hoping I find a career that actually makes work FUN for me. Flash media and web-design are starting to turn my head, so there's an idea, PLUS it pays rather well.
But if I had it my way, it would be much like Peter Gibbons' world from Office Space. I would do nothing, all day. Not one thing. I guess I just like my freedom. As long as I make enough money to eat, that's fine. Any more cash than that might corrupt my purity =)

i want to open a head/music shop..A shop that is just for rock fans, so when you go you can talk to people who are in love with the same thing you are, some rock music and weed
Floral arranger sounds good, Birdgirl. I've thought of that too. My dream career would be a counselor for teenagers or a social worker. I've always enjoyed working with teens or pre-teens. Since I've had such a rough time as a teen, I want to be there for troubled teens.
I am getting a degree in cullinary arts after i graduate, then opening a coffee shop in amsterdam.
My dream would be owning a head shop, or just make pipes
My dream job would be to survey and create designs for potential ski resorts.

I have my dream career, teaching in a college.
I just wish more creative young students would make online or feature films or plays or tv shows about the use of the marijuana plant for medical, economic, environmental, (and many other!) purposes. Do an expose on the injustice around marijuana sentencing, a la Michael Moore, so that it is talked about - and perhaps the prohibition would have a chance to end-

I would like to teach both English and Drama in a public high school.
my dream job would be to be a pro athlete or something like that.. but a realistic one that ive had since i was a lil kid is to be a vet, i just love animals and all that and i would love to one day be able to help them out..

didn't have one til my last trip to costa rica.
then i started thinking what a trip it would be to work as a general carpenter/handyman for a few of the resorts down there, i could get lost in the forests in my time off and the work is what i love to do (i do it here anyway). too bad the pay sucks down there.
i know, it's nothing exotic or exciting but my dreams are small these days.

I'd like to have a small farm in Vermont and raise organic produce for the Mediterranean tapas bar that I will also own and be the chef at. But I will have to have myself cloned first... wonder if the ez-cloner does that! :D
I want to write and direct films. i've finished 2 first drafts for 2 ideas i had a while ago. and i've got 2 concepts i've been working on. doesn't sound like much, but writing a story fit for the screen is tough. every detail must be accounted for. i don't want to be an ignorant film maker. every second has a purpose.
i just need to get my foot in the door. I could try and get a job as a runner or an assistant and then work my way up.
I want to do research with inner city kids and teach college level psychology or sociology. I want to get my PhD in one of those fields. I’m still working on my undergrad right now though so its going to be awhile. The past few weeks I've been interested in moral development but the last person who really did any research in that field quit doing it because of the stuff other people would say and the person before her killed himself so I dont know if I really want to get into that.I would also like to have my own kiln and potters wheel but I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to have that.
