This isn't exactly an "Congratulations" thread either. Because I'm still 17 and this wasn't really planned.
Lately she's been having frequent stomach aches, extremely tired, and a little faint and light headed at times.
I looked it up on the internet and these are all early signs of pregnancy.
And stuff like this just doesn't come out of no where. She wasn't always like this.

I suggest you find out immediately and think very hard about what you two are going to be doing for the rest of your lives. You are too young to bring a kid into this world as you are just a kid yourself.
Think hard, very hard.
Terminate the pregnancy if she is and learn about contraception if she aint.
Word. Don't be afraid to throw Abortion out into the open, because you're my age, and I dunno wut I'd do if I had a kid.
What it pretty much comes down to is if you dunno wut you're gonna do, you ain't ready...

I am very anti-abortion.
I had a 1 in 2000 chance of being not being born a vegatable. Three docters stood around my mom in a cramped room telling her that it is pointless to go through with the pregnacy, that I was going to have spinal bifeda(sp?). My spinal cord wouldn't connect to my brain or something.
She didn't have the abortion, and here I am, gifted with intelligence.

I don't think we can do the pregnancy test until at the end of the month when she is supposed to have her period. Operative word being supposed.
And abortion. Well I am pro choice, I definately think it should be up to the woman, her body her choice. But I don't know how supportive of that my girl friend would be and same with me. I mean the thought of abortion is appealing and all when you can sit there safely and think what you would do if you had a g/f who was pregnant and it not actually be happening. I think I would have problems if I went with an abortion. Like nightmares...the thought I just ended something that could totally change my life, regardless if it were a positive or negative change. It was my kid.

i dont see how you can say it should be all up to the woman about abortion, if she was for keeping it and just decided to keep it knowing the man said he couldnt and wouldnt be able to support it, then shell be coming to the man for support. it should be a mutual decision if women did absolutely all raising and supporting of the kid then it should be all their choice. but they dont
Here's hoping it's just the stomach flu or mono. Get her to a doc or buy a home pregnancy test. If she isn't pregnant, you two better have a SERIOUS talk about birth control, ASAP! If she is pregnant, you have a number of choices. (1) You can be a total ass and dump her. (2) you can an ass and dump her, but give her child support. (3) Things can go on pretty much as before with you two just sleeping together and baby makes three, with you paying child support. (4) You can get married and try to make a go of it. (5) adopt the child out. I have a half sister who was adopted out (scandal time!) and she is very happy in her life- a loving family, an upper class life, A-1 education, etc. She had it WAY better than I did! Open adoptions allow the birth parents to keep in touch. (6) have an abortion. This option is the saddest, but every child born should be guarenteed a loving, prepared and stable home. I have seen abortion both save, and in a few cases, ruin the lives of the young women who had them. It all depends on the psychological make-up of the woman. when it comes to abortion its a bit iffy for me coz i see both sides to the issue,
yes there are some people that SHOULD NOT have kids, crack addicts, paedophiles, etc.
there are woman who were raped and are now pregnant, i understand why they wouldnt want a reminder of the rape for the rest of their lives
and of course there are some situations where the pregnancy can make the mother sick, to the point where she may die, in that case even the bible (old testament, not sure if this is negated by the new testament though...... you may wanna look that up) agrees that the baby may be aborted to save the mother
having said that you must remember that an abortion is still killing the baby, it is murder, i agree with the anti abortion people on that point, so you gotta ask yourself, can you justify the murder of a baby?
also remember, for you the idea of an abortion may be easy to think of, we are guys so are not as connected to the child as the woman may be, it will be VERY difficult for her, so if she is pregnant and she does decide to abort, you need to be by her every step of the way

dam man i know like 4 girls in my school that are pergnet as of now! and 1 of those girl has already delivered her baby. she and her boy friend are currently go to school and working just to support there baby. the baby stays with there grandma when they in school n at work. and there the same age as you guys. think long and hard make sure you and your girl friend make a decision before going with the abortion. and dont let any other people tell you to go ahead n stick with the abortion. remember you and your girl friend has to make a decision were you and her agrees on it. good luck man.

It's such a grey area, bottom line is if you and your gf are under 18 GET ONE. You ain't ready, don't make the kid suffer. My friend had a kid when he was still in highschool, he sees it every so often when he isn't doped out of his mind on X, Weed, cough syrup, shrooms and everything that comes in pill form. It's sad. You CAN'T plan out a life at your age and therefore your kid will be going into an unstable world and probably end up with your parents (if they're cool) or in a foster home. Both ways suck. My 16 year old friend Steve is dating his pregnant girlfriend Molly, shes 15, I know them both well, he's far from responsable enuff to raise a baby, making their parents do all the work is a shame. I told him use the rubber or ur choosing the mother, jesus.

If she is, and you want to keep the kid you dont want her drinking, smoking and you'd want her eating well, right? so find out
if she is and you choose to abort, the sooner the better on her.

i agree with yoda, if you aren't prepared to raise a kid, just give it up for adoption. i have a more conservative belief when it comes to abortion- i think it should only be used in extreme cases (rape, incest, etc), although since i have never been pregnant before i don't know what it is like to be in a position to have to choose between giving birth and abortion....
Well here's my input. I'm 20 years old and I have a daughter that is due March 25, 2007. pretty much as soon as the mother found out she split to another state. She already has a son. When she told me I was only 19 and the thought of abortion came to mind but you would be surprised on how hard that is to actually do when the time comes. I had talked to her she wanted to and I told her if she did want to then she could. But then we talked somemore and well now I have a daughter. It's not the end of the world just a big step in your life that just makes you do things. It is really no different than anything else. You just have to accept your responsibilities. See my problem is the girl doesn't want to be with me muchless talk to me and she's 3 states away. My suggestion is talk to people you know and trust and they will give you good advice on what you need to do. It's not the end of the world infact it's a brand new begining. Enjoy! :jointsmile:
one thing i dont get about pro life people is how they can say it is ok to abort the kid for rape. personally i believe it is in all cases as i dont think it is any different than using a condom, i dont think it is alive. but if you say it isnt the kids fault you were irresponsible and got pregnant, it isnt the kids fault the mother was raped, why should an innocnet child die as a result. just a question, really i am all for abortion, at least choice.
