Why in the hell do they do this

Ill tell you everyone so I don't have to keep using pronouns and such.

Mom - my mom


Mom and Andy fight over shit all the time. Just a few minutes ago they were screaming at each other. Over the fucking dishes. Andy does have a hard job, he works concrete and that is a job that can really fuck up your back and hips, he has already had hip surgery because of it. But if he would take the time to learn whos job is whos, we wouldn't have this problem. I take out the trash and do the bathroom, mom does the den, and living room, and Randy has the dishes and kitchen. Andy hasn't been to work in two days(it is to cold, the concrete won't set right), and has done nothing, I can understand coming in from a hard day's work and not doing anything for the rest of the day, but this is the third day in a row(he has weekends off)that he has not been to work. He has no right to tell mom to scream at mom over a job that isn't even hers. Randy is a lazy crack head that doesn't do anything. He has a job at McDonalds that he works about 5 hours a day(3-4 days a week) at. He is the source of most of their problems. Andy doesn't want me to smoke weed at all(the hypocrit started smoking weed and cigerettes when he was 13). Andy thinks that Randy is doing his part because Randy acts like a child. He tells Andy that he is doing things that me and my mom are doing. And when we tell Andy that Randy isn't doing those things, and that we are, he thinks that we are just trying to take credit. He knows absolutley nothing about women, which is even worse when it comes to comunication with my mother. Randy gets me to do his own job every other day. Andy is the sole supporter of the household, so if mom and him get into a serious argument and he kicks us out, we have to move back to my old home town with my grandparents. I hate South Fulton, it is a hell hole and I could never hate a person enought to ask them to go there, much less live there.

Over-all, it has just been a bad day.

Think of all the shit you have to go through (when you don't have a choice) as motivation to be a self-made person. Dependence upon another human being, when you've reached the age of independence, is no way to exist. Think of your self as gold that's just been unearthed. You're still covered with some impurities and dirt...then think of the fights and the shit you have to go through as the flames which will one day remove all the crap on your back so you can shine on! From where I'm standing, your mom is the one with the real problem here. She's moved in with a sorry-ass loser and put herself and her son under the control and victimization of that person and his drug-addicted brother. If Andy is the sole supporter of the finances and the household, she has brought you, a minor child, into that situation and put you at risk for whatever yelling and other abuse he's handing out. That's not a good atmosphere for her, a completely vulnerable and dependent woman, and it's especially not good for you, her child.

What prevents your mother from doing something to earn a living and support you guys without having to shack up with, and be dependent on, some controlling, loud-yelling loser? This is a situation that far too many women put themselves in. They hook up with controlling assholes and bring their vulnerable children into that picture, too. She's the one who ought to be looking at improving her lot in life, quite frankly. Doesn't sound like it'd be the worst thing in the world at all for y'all to be back with your grandparents (except, of course, she'd be moving from one dependent situation to another). This is why all women need to get as much education as possible: so they can get decent jobs, have the self-esteem that prevents them from getting into situations like your mom's, and achieve some degree of financial independence. And so they don't have to put themselves and their children in situations where they're vulnerable to the Andys of the world.

Only she prevents herself from getting a job. But either way, it is better than living in the town that we used to live in. There her vindictive ex-husband lived two houses up from us, the cops constantly patrolled around our house(we were being watched even though my mom wasn't doing anything illegal at the time)her ex-husband was doing childish shit like taking our trash and putting our mail in it and dumping out in the country(mom had to pay about 1000 dollars from criminal littering charges she didnt commit)my uncle who is schitzophrenic and contantly making or shooting up meth, and it got us away from our cousin who is always looking for someone to narc on. No matter what, it is still better than living back there.

They just made up btw and Andy cooked some chili. I was like wtf but the chili was good.

And my mom is manic depressive, she has been since i was little, or atleast she was diagnosed with it when I was little and she really hasn't seemed to change. Andy is a good guy, he just doesnt know anything about women or how to handle family matters.

I just get pissed at him a lot. Randy might or might not do crack not sure, i think he does.

i would have killed to just grow up with a mom who has a steady relationship with someone with those minimal problems.... your other house, the one you don't want to go back to, is starting to sound a little more like my family, but even if it were just those problems, still woulda been a better household then i grew up in.

my dad is a psychotic crackhead that thinks he's having a sexual relationship wtih god and jesus.
my uncle has tried to kill me, literally.. and he just lives out back, he's completely un-predictable, and i feel generally unsafe with him anywhere near me, my wife or my child, but there's not a whole lot that can be done about the situation, he hasn't messed with us in a good long while anyways.
my grandpa is a very bad alcoholic... like those people you see and just pitty.
my mom is pretty much the same way, but with alot of mental problems, and now a dead son she just loves to tell everyone over and over to show them how bad her life is (she's a compulsive liar and over dramatizes everything by like ten fold literally)
