Where the tab is on the guitar, just translate that tab, which is a note, to the note on a keyboard. If you don't know where notes are on the guitar, then you're in trouble. :p
If you're looking for keyboard music, just search on Google for keyboard/piano music. I searcg for guitar tabs all the time and find loads of stuff, so I', sure they have music for keyboards.
if you dont understand guitar then i dont think you would understand how to translate guitar tabs into piano tabs. you would have to find someone who knows how to read tabs.
oh by the way WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL!!!
GUITAR TABS ARE FUCKING ILLEGAL! WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU BREAKING THE LAW?!
Aye, I don't know where the notes are on guitar.
I want to play some Joy Division songs on synth, I've found some tabs http://gvelay.free.fr/gta/index.html?jd/index.html
Its pissing me off that a lot of tab sites are ebing shut down. Its not like were stealing the actualy song and its losing the artist money or anything. We still listen to the fucking song
There is software such as Finale, Sibelius G7, and others that will allow you to input tab and it will convert it into musical notes on a staff. You can probably download trial versions from the Internet.Quote:

the 6 lines correspond to each string and the number is the fret the note is played on. Whatever tuning you are in the open note of each string is the begining of each notation progression. So lets say you are in standard tuning (e,a,d,g,b,e) and the tab looks like this:
---------
---------
---------
---------
---------
---3-----
you would play the open note which is an e then the first fret which is an a, second fret a#, and the third fret is a b. Your note is a b. Just know what tuning you are in so you know where to start than just go through the notation progression on up the neck until you find your note.
ultimate-guitar has some program called power tab, where it lets you play with the song. i havent tried it out, but my friend said its really helpful.
Powertab: I'm Pretty sure the new version can convert to Staff.
Guitar Pro: If you can get do so.
Thats all youll need . Powertab is free, but GP is not ::Legally:: Free

I've found a couple of programs out there that let me enter the tab, and it outputs it as a midi file. I haven't tried them properly yet, but I'm sure I can get the result I want from one of them.
Thanks for the suggestions, and if you've got any more please post them.
I just wish I could play by ear!
