he got it used off ebay for 150, its actually a really nice one, the hood is nice and so is the ballast, and the light bulb works, check out my grow in my sig, u can see what im using, i got half a closet that id plan on putting it in, do i need anything besides somehthing to mount it with and fans?
I didn't read your other thread, just saw the pics. How big is your room? You may be able to control the temps with a 400W in there.
Aren't the 400W systems like $100 on ebay?

He got ripped off. i know were u can get a 400 watt HPS Kit, ballast and reflector included for $150 with shipping included in that price, from e-bay, brand new, dont buy it or u will be the one getting ripped off, let me know if you want the link to the e-bay store
What about the banners here at this site? I see 250w HPS system for $95. I havent checked them out at all but it would be nice to support the people who help make this site possible if they are good lights.

Inside sun, subtotal $107.50 + Shipping 30s bucks average, + if you want hooks and chains to be able to hang it with, they arent included, add another 12.00 for thoes from the site. so that comes to about $149.50 total. E-bay stor auction brand new 400 watt HPS everything included, chains to hang and shipping = $150 total, i think the 50 cents more is worth the exta 150 watts and chains to hang with. dont you?

As far as I'm concerned, High Tech Garden Supply in PA is the best source for nice, well warranted lights. They are cheap and the bulbs alone are under warranty for a year and the ballasts and sockets for three! No where else I'd ever buy lights and they are fast as a bat out of hell when it comes to shipping.
