You can gain a extra inch!
I was watching oprah and they were doing one of the weightloss specials with that Dr. I forget his name. Anyways if a guy is over weight if he looses 35 pounds he gains a extra inch of lenghth. It has something to do with fat building up in the groin area around the base of your dick and when you loose 35 pounds you get that inch back that has been hibernating in that patch of fat.

That was Dr. Mehmet Oz, a highly respected cardio-thoracic surgeon and author--and one of the great heroes of the cardiology and health world.
Being lean helps male "endowment" in a couple of ways. Not only by eliminating the fat pad in the groin but also by helping keep testosterone levels nice and high. Testosterone is a muscle-binding hormone. The more muscular and lean guys are, the higher their testosterone levels. Hence the more impressive they are size-wise and erection-firmness wise, too. Estrogen is a fat-binding hormone. Which is fine in women. That's why we naturally have a bit more body fat. But in men, extra fatty tissue means they have higher levels of estrogen in their bodies than they ought to have. And that keeps them from being their best in the areas of endowment and erectile function.
I think if more mean realized this, they'd work harder at keeping themselves in better shape. The same is true for smoking. It's the number one killer of erectile function. But still people continue to smoke . . . .

Yes sir, I'm very serious. Ask any urologist or cardio-pulmonary doctor for a confirmation of this fact. Smoking affects erectile function in a negative way because it contributes to arterioslcerosis. This unfortunate fact is one of the best ways to persuade men to stop smoking, too, believe it or not. They're more likely to quit to improve the quality of their erections than to benefit their overall health.

What Dr. Oz said was kind of true, but kind of misleading. I just lost about 40lbs., so I know. The penis doesn't actually grow. If you have lost weight, you gain size, when you measure, because since you have lost fat from your pelvis area, your base staing point is lower. As you gain weight you don't gain fat in your dick or we'd have a bunch of 300 lb. dudes waddling around. But thanks birdgirl. I didn't know that testoterone stuff. Cool. Anyway, I gained over 1" in length, but that's because the starting point is lower. I still like to think I have this humungous prick though.

ya losing weight doesn't make your penis bigger, it just unearths it so to speak. it was always there, just hidden away in a bunch of fat. if guys actually wanna gain penis size...there is always something called jelqing. its like exercise for your penis. i don't really believe it myself, but even people like Sue Johanson (rockin canadian sex nurse) are starting to come around to the idea that it MIGHT work. it's worth a shot.

erectile problems can be caused by having heart problems. some doctors refer to it as "the window to the heart" he he, but literally. and smoking fucks your heart up, so if thats the cause. stopping smoking wont undue the damage
As well anything that reduces blood flow. IE smoking. will be bad for your sex life by lowering the blood flow to the penis

Cigarettes we know for sure cause the problem. Have known that for a long time. But heavy weed smokers report some of the same symptoms, especially after long-time use. I know this has been reported by urologists, although I'm not sure if there've been published formal studies. Any loss of erectile function probably has much less to do with the cannabis itself than it does the action of smoking, which tends to make smooth muscles like veins and arteries, more brittle and irritible (less elastic and flexible), and tends to deplete and change blood oxygen levels, at least temporarily. The good news is that few, if any, men tend to smoke as much weed as cigarette smokers smoke cigarettes. The bad news is that most weed smokers also tend to smoke unfiltered weed, so there's not an easy way of knowing if the various other harmful substances in weed smoke might aggravate any ED symptoms sooner because the smoking is unfiltered. The really bad news is we'll probably never know, at least from American studies, since cannabis research is pretty much at a standstill in this country.

My unit seems to be longer when I am getting regular action. IDK-just thought I would throw that out there.

This makes sense to me. Probably the regular "action" of blood flowing in and out helps keep the supporting vasculature well exercised and flexible. And the sexual activity itself helps keep your testosterone production nice and high, which helps, too.

I find it funny when a girl thinks she knows everything about dicks

I must have missed where she said she knew everything about dicks. Seems to me she's well read, has a marked interest in human biology, and doesn't have a problem recalling interesting data.
If you have a problem with something she said, maybe you should address it on it's own merits rather than pointing fingers and commencing with the 'Oh look, a know it all girl!'
Now wouldn't you feel stupid if it turns out she's a urologist?

I'm a medical student who's married to a cardiologist (they deal with heart-lung-circulatory issues in patients, which means they treat ED a lot, too), and I've always been interested in urology. I've read a lot on this subject since cardiologists were the ones who helped unlock the key to the vascular mechanics of erectile function, which led to the development of Viagra.
