People who reuse your story but change it a bit...

I was telling an aquantance a few weeks ago about how the other day at school. I sensually asked to borrow his lighter, light my Giant huge bowl, and handed it back to him. When I was in the process of handing it back I noticed black burn marks on the bottom of it. So I looked at him and asked if he smoked The cannabis substance, and we got into a cool random conversation about MARI-JUE_ANNA.

I see that same friend I told about that a couple days ago and he repeats the story back to me as if it were one of his own. He repeated it nearly verbatim. I decided not to call him out on it as he is an old friend and we rarely see each other. Why do people steal stories as if it happened to you.

Best part is it isn't that great of a story to steal.

Sometimes I have problems deciphering if it is my story and really happend to me...or if I just heard it from someone else I know and it happend to them.

That probably means I smoke too much pot.

Wayofthe leaf is the one-upper not the quoted guy. I'm stoned an it didn't make sense to me after posting it so I'm writing this guide.

This has happend to me only a few times, with the friend telling other people my story infront of me. What happend more commonly when i was in high school was people telling jokes i had told them, passing them off as if i were not the one who made them; by jokes i dont mean like lines or set ups but like personal antidotes,

eff those people.

Yeah, people rip what I say a lot, as in jokes. Like, once I said "GROW UP! POO-HEAD!" and for like a week then a ton of people started sayin' it.

Stories however rarely happen, and if they do re-tell a story then usually they don't pretend its their own.

Sometimes though, I steal other peoples fantasies and change it a bit. But thats for personal use. Like, if I hear about how someone hooked up with a girl, I'll be like "Oh yeah..." and use their story, but with ME instead of them! and not the same girl...its always some random stoner chick in my fantasies.
