My Childhood Cat Died Today

My Childhood Cat, Bossy, Died Today...


It's cold outside and I had this feeling that he had to be let in. I go outside and try to call him but he doesn't come. Then I notice that there is a big black blob in a snowbank across the street. I get a really bad feeling, but I know I have to check to make sure. Sure enough, it was Bossy, the cat I got when I was 4 living in California. So i got some bed sheets and wrapped him in them and placed him in a little plastic box thing.

This is the worst day of my life, I've never been so depressed. I've always had him for as long as I can remember, so I don't know wut to do with myself....

I attached a pic so you guys can see how amazing he is. He's the black one, the little one next to him is his successor, Henry.

Anyways, just had to vent a little...

I AM SO SORRY! Oh man...that is just awful! I am so in love with my cats...I don't know what I will do when one of them goes!

That is just truly horrible..I'm sorry....I know how much you probably loved your cat, because I love mine a lot! Bossy looks just like one of my cats...aww! I feel for you!!!!!!

Aww i absolutly love cats!
one of mine got in a dryer once and it was white. so we accidently killed it. i was so depressed and sad. i buriued it but racoons got to him. i was super pissed! i wanted to camp out and shoot the little bastards.
I <3 cats... i always had a thing for them.

But i am sorry for your loss.
Might i ask, you dont have to answer. but, What happend to the cat? did it freeze or get hit by a car?

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss, Oniehtredrum. Bossy was a beautiful and charming kitty! That's heartbreaking, I know. I lost my long-time cat thta I'd had since my childhood when she was 17 and another after having her for 12 years. It's like losing a chid and a best friend at the same time. Do you know what happened to him?

I think I'm going to arrange some sort of memorial because he meant a lot to my entire family and I don't want to just drop it. I think i'll also get some sort of headstone to put in my backyard in memory of him...

Shit man, that really put a tear to my eye. I hate even thinking about losing pets. Smoke a bowl or 2 in memory of him/her and make sure to keep in rememberance.

He looks EXACTLY like my cat her name is magic. her hair is a little longer though

That's really unfortunate...some people don't understand how much a pet can affect someone's life, but I feel ya man, and I hope my cat has many more years so I don't have to go through what you are anytime soon. Hang in there.

bummer. my childhood cat (R.I.P. Rumsy) died like 4 years ago, and it sucked for a while, but im used to it now. itll pass

Aw, Bossy was a pretty kitty. Sorry for your loss man. I have four cats myself and couldn't imagine losing them yet. I know what it's like though, I've lost pets in the past and it's never easy.

sorry bout the cat man. my grandma has a cat that is older than me(im 20) but she shes got 3 paws in the litter box.

damn that thing made me cry so much and i know this will not help at all but all i can do is sit next to my kitty and cradle her right now and ask her to never leave me
