Did you not see how in that movie drugs ruined all of their lives??? They all just wanted a better life...
umm... just looks like a bunch of random randomness to me, as I said...
They all had "dreams" about how good life was going to be for them... And it's a requiem because all of those dreams died horrible horrible deaths.
What part didn't you understand about that?
thats pretty much the gist of it...Quote:

It's just the movie thing dosen't make any sense at all... are we all thinking of the same thing? I'm am refering to: http://www.requiemforadream.com/
I own that movie...good movie.
Thats it. Prescription drugs, heroin, a girl sucking dick for her fix and preforming in front of men, another losing his arm. Drugs can ruin lives and that is what the movie was about. Notice weed was not a focal point of the film. Great movie by the way.Quote:

Requiem for a Dream exposes four paralleled individuals and their menacing addiction to heroin, cocaine, and diet pills (speed). Taking place in Brooklyn amidst the waning Coney Island, the drugs are very easily obtained and keep each main character in its cycle of dependence. The protagonist Harry Goldfarb is your typical heroin junky with an ambitious plan of "Getting off hard knocks," with help from his cocaine crazed girlfriend Marion and his long time friend Tyrone. Meanwhile his widowed mother is obsessed with the glamor of television and eventually finds her way to a dietitian who pushes her into the cycle of drug induced enslavement.

I read above by one who has no friggin clue that drugs can't ruin your life. What the fuck is wrong with you stupid? Drugs can and will detsroy your life if you let them. I have lost way too many people in my life to drugs and was almost lost to them myself. Drugs destroyed the lives of the people in the movie just like drugs destroy peoples lives every day.
Drugs kill and it is stupid people that let drugs kill them, I got smarter and quit them. I am not saying that I am a super genius, far from it. But I was smart enough to quit messing with narcotics and alcohol because they took away my dreams and my life until I quit them. I still do not remember my dreams, they have been gone for 20 years.
