round 2: second grow [LOTS O PICS]

first grow (http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=92016) was bust so heres second grow

i got some hybrid seeds or something, they are way better than mids, in the whole qp there were maybe 20 seeds, it was fluffy had red hairs and crystals but it didnt smell or taste like anything better than mids, w/e it was dank and it got me high so yeah those r the seeds im using

i germinated between wet paper towels for about 4 days

have 3 seeds in their own 4" pots with (3) 42=150 watt 2600 lumen cfl's and a 150 plant light

3 supplies, 3 week waterer, masking tape, mylar, squirt bottle, plug strip and zip ties

4 squirt bottle, scotts perlite and scotts potting soil, (im doing a 50/50 mix of the perlite and soil well about 50/50

Hey goodluck, im about done with my first successful grow. From looking at your pics i can tell you, and other will tell you too... to lower your lights to just a few inches above the soil. Also, the lights you have are great, but you should try to get some cool 6500K bulbs. Can be found at walmart. They are better for vegetation. One last thing... that light you have that looks different that the others... dont use it. It seems to be a halogen bulb and puts out too much heat and hardly any lumens.

its a plant light and i was putting it in there cuz the 3 cfl's i have, the company makes them in 3 different types, soft white, bright white and day light and those r the softwhite since thats all home depot had, i was gonna get a bunch of the day light ones but they only have like 100 watt vs 150 and the lumens on the lights i have are way better than the only 100 watt ones and i didnt have enough money to get enough of the 100 watt ones to equal what i have now, so i kinda put the 4th light in there to give the effect of the day light, u no what im saying? ive been tyring to figure out a way to lower them, i will lower them prob somehow tonite thaks for ur input i'll keep posting...

lol well its kinda like i guess day 2, the chronic leaves have started to pop out from the middle id say all three plants are about 3/4"-1" tall maybe? the stalks seem a lot thinker than my last grow, that makes me happy but its prob a little too early to tell

nutes are from local hydro shop, all cfls are from walmart im still looking for pics. if you dont have local shop you should be able to get them on net.

thanks for the info and helpin me out with this stuff i have 6 planted and all 6 showin chronic leaf, its like day 3 or 4 i have no idea lol maybe later, its usually around 80 in the closet, i got 4-42watt(150watt) cfl each puttin out 2700 lumens, i plan on gettin more lights, i spray and water often

lovetogrow they are very nice plants, how comy they so lanky mines bushy lol is it the strain or the way they are grown? what strain is urs?

it was bag seed and they were grown with cfl.
now im growing Ice, sour jack, nlx, and white widow. they all are about an inch tall with 3 -4 nodes but i now grow with mh and hps

those cfls look like they are the wrong spectrum for vegging. those look like the 42w warm light cfls.(i use those for flowering)u should look into the 26w COOL light bulbs. they produce that white/blue light loved by vegging plants.
other then that dude lookin good. nice and organized xD. stay neat it helps!

what should i do? why are the leaves like that? what can i do to fix it?

your soil is looking like you like to over water. i notice this in muct of your pics you need to let the dry dry out a lot more before watering again. and give them less water, weed likes it on the dryer side. a good (but probably not the best) way to tell who much water is take the bottom off your pots and add water slowly til water comes out the bottom then. remember how much that was and minus a little bit form that and that is what you give them. do this when they dry back up. only water every 2-3 days or when they are feeling dry. also if you change pot sizes you will have to do this all over again to see what they will need then.

dont add furts til like about 3 nodes

hey if you have touble finding the nudes i use, ill have my local shop put it on their site tomarrow and you will be able to order it from them by the end of tomarrow. like tonite i didnt see co2 injectors on thier site and they added it in like an hour.

ok yo, what can i do to make my leaves stop from drooping and get rid of the purplness in the stems?

purple should be from the water being to cool when you feen them. leaves are drooping b/c they are over watered

so dont over water and make sure you water with warm water

current set up, u like? any advice anyone?

i used the little twisty tie things and put my plants up straight that are all in the one pot, i also put them on a different light cycle they are 18 hours of light and 6 hours of night now i'll post pics in a lilt bit when somehting happens

Lookin good, whats the temps in your room with all those lights and do you got some sort of ventilation?

i keep the other side of my closet open and the window in my room is open and its like below 60 outside so it gets cool in the room, the temp is usually at like 70-84 but mostly around 78-84

good advice? there were a couple days were i got so fucked up all i did was sit at my computer for a couple hours and make posts and read shit hahaa

by the way, this is prob a bad idea, im about 4 hours away from my plants right now and will be for about o.... 2 weeks? maybe a little longer? right now i have the 8 lights in there, i repotted all the plants except for the one with like 5 plants in it

they are all now in 6" pots

also i bought these things that are suppsed to release water into your potted plants for about 3 weeks, hopefully they work, if they dont, looks like im starting over again

also my lights are on an 18/6 cycle now instead of 24/7
