^*^*^*^ My Grow Log (bad ass lol) ^*^*^*^

Okay so I've been growing these bitches for almost 2 months. I had another grow log but the title of the thread just wasn't very appealing to the eye. Much opposite from the one this has lol. I think im around 7 weeks from seed. This setup has gone from ghetto to pro in this short amount of time lol. SOOOOOOOO I have within this box a flowering room that is lit by a 175W Mercury Vapor Hung on a board by chains :) (not the best choice but its all I have at the moment and is more powerful then the CFL's I have). It's 1 1/2 X 2 Ft. Then at the other side i have a small Vegetative room for a mother and clones. The clones were cut TODAY, DECEMBER 1st, planted in Jiffy Cubes and is for showing their sexes. This room is eluminated by 4- 26W CFL's and 1- 43W CFL. It is 1 X 2ft x 16in. The extra space above the VEG froom I use for storage of Water, Nutes, tools, timers and excess stuff I dont want lying around.

With this method I can keep a mother plant and start clones until they root and then flower them, thus making the great gift of Marijuana ENDLESS to me! :) I've learned SO much from "Marijuana Horticulture" by Jorge Cervantes. I HIGHLY recommend picking it up at your nearest Hastings or Barnes & Noble. SO here we are at this 7 week stage and they're doing very good. The flowering room is still at 18/6 because my plants aren't quite big enough to satisfy me enough to flower. SOON THOUGH! The Veg room is on a 24/0. Duh. ENJOY READING THIS! I'll update it as often as I can guys.

So here are pictures of all of my plants at Week 7 and the clones taken from all of them today to define their sexes.

It's best not to mist the clones to often. You should mist the lid of the humidity dome rather than the plants themselves. They will only be able to -slowly- foilage feed themselves (humidity). To much water can wllt the shit out of them and they might not unwilt...anyways...lookin' sick man

I put a ziploc bag on them mad hatter. Thanks for the advice :p

I think you should lower your HID ligh... especially since it looks like you have exhaust..

If it gets to hot on your plants.. just put a fan on the ground and have it blowing up at your light..

Knowm, You're correct, I have exhaust lol. The light is easily lowered so i guess I can do that for em' :) Thanks for the advice.

P.S. I got rid f the ziploc bag and now have a little clear tupperwear box with (Heraldic angels singing) A WHITE LID! lol. I put a dozen holes or so on each side to help with the ventilation and i mist the BOX not the plants ;) thanks for your advice guys its really helping me so much!. CLones arent looking too badly. I cut them when the plants were a ittle early (not QUITE 2 months) so maybe thats why they arent quite perked up yet though. But today is the second day after cloning which means tomorrow at 3, they'll have had 48 hours of 95-100% humidity and I can mist them less often.

Your plants look healthy. It may be too early to tell but they look like males. Usually the males grow faster and show sex earlier. :confused:

SO this thread has been down for quite some time but i finally got an HPS and some worty picture slol. Been in flowering for 2 weeks and WHAT DO YA KNOW!? 2 FEMALES! I got so lucky guys.. wow.. The 2 biggest ones were girls. I ended Rhonda's life the other day for fear of no new growth. When I de-rooted her, the problem was solved. She hadn't developed strong enough roots to sustain healthy growth at all. But Im still growing Egorette, STUBS!, and Athena (my favorite baby) So here is my NEW setup, My clones in my HOMNE BUILT cloner which i learned hwo to make from this site :), and my Ladies!

Hey, CS. Good update. Nice pics. Is it just me or do your plants look kinda like Pezzo's, always overwatered...? I'm not trying to be rude, just an observation. Those clones look a little ...uhh...how can I put it nicely...undertheweather? ;)

I sure do hope the come out alright for you, though.

When you said you used a gallon jug, does that mean you cut the bottom off of one of them and set it on top? Is the gallon jug clear? I mean, they do need some light...right?

green fog had a good point... if the jug is not transparent... well.... not sure if it would matter for a clone...

How about, cutting the top off the gallon jug and covering it with SURAN WRAP... and then poke a a dozen tiny (tooth pick) holes in the suran wrap..

BTW - there is this stuff at the hydro store called WILT SPRAY.. the shit is freaking amzing and it actually works..... clones love IT

you can dilute the fook out of it and make a bottle last you years!!!

To bad there are no hydro shops where I Live.:( I planted my clones. Well 3 of them. (one I broke in half. DOH!) One looks very healthy and had some roots coming off of her. The other 2 looked like shit and probably wotn make it.

Garden Knowm, I have such a terrible sucess rate with clones and shit. Is there ANY way that you could like walk me through it in your own words? Like how you do would do it with my supplies? I have 5 flouros, cool air intake and a perlite wick cloner. THEY DONT WORK WELL THOUGH! HELP ME PLZ! Without knowing how to clone, i'll add an extra month and a half onto each harvest :'( NO!

Hey knowm, question about the anti-wilt and cloning:

If you're cloning under a dome, do you still use anti-wilt? I've got both, but have never tried simeltaneous use. My clones don't thrive all too well howver, and I only used the anti-wilt when I transplanted some fresh grape fruits, and it actually seemed to clog the stomata and mess them up, they recovered however and are doing great now. thanks. peace.

the wilt spray clogged something? Dilute the wilt spray...
