Tough to answer cause one person's best method might not be good for someone else. If there was no risk, outdoor would be the way to go. For personal smoke I would look into organic soil. Commercial grows usually go hydroponic for fast growth and increased yields. Beginners get best results using a soilless mix and hydroponic nutrients.
nice one perp, gd answer!
Indoor or Outdoor maybe even in a greenhouse, soil, love and care. That's all you need :hippy:.

thats like me and my location voyager.......gotta love those long outdoor growing seasons
For me, indoor grows of pure indicas, but depends. I'd love to smoke outdoor sativas, that have taken months to flower, each trichomes shining in the sun.
Yum.
hahaha yeh, sounds nice but, outdoor weed tastes a bit like you'd think hay would, especially after a wet autumn... but, i guess some outdoor strains would be yummy regardlessQuote:

i was thinking though, the other day, when a plant is out in the wild in england, and autumn time comes around, the days get dull, and rainy, and cold, and you dont get much sun, so i say for budding, if your in england or somewhere similar, its better to grow indoors, as it will get a higher amount of light indoors...
I grow for the smoke.
I've always grown outdoors and piddled around with greenhouse and indoor/outdoor grows. I was an electrician at university in the late 70s and worked on environmental growth chambers, automated greenhouses and grow rooms with combo HPS/Mercury Vapor (before multi-vapor metal halide). I'm interested in all the technology here for growing smoke as well as the QBE (Qulified By Experience). As I'm semi-retired and live at 45ยบ Lat, this indoor growing is....good. <G>
Stoned...I like outdoor, organic grown
