high guys, i decided to use baskets and air stones instead of the rockwool this time........still waiting for clones.......looks like i will be sprouting my own seeds if nothing comes along ...well peace out and happy tokes stonerz! :thumbsup:

Nice lookin setup there bud how much did that set you back? Ive been thinkin of trying hydro for a while now.. just never wanted to put money to it until now.. Anyway if you were closer to me mate id get you some clones, when you do get something in their its gonna be awesome.. good luck on the clones!!

Something to think about.
If you have the room you can place another c-13 type of cab next to this one to hold the res. It would give you more top room in the grow cab and help to keep the water cooler not having it in the same area as your light.
Love your work bro. It is obvious this venture will be successful as you definitly don't mind putting in the required work.

Hey bro, yeah this is the latest beast......uummm it is top feed but instead of drip, im gonna have it on a on and off timer, most likely 6-8 transitions a day, also in the bottom of the pot baskets i added about 2cm worth of rockwool to retain a little bit of moisture for the couple of hours of break inbetween each feed (water)Quote:

btw here is a picture of the finished production of my new set up.......and my new hydroponic fan........i have better exhaust now, allowing me to possibly goto 600watt now instead of the 400watter.

That carpet is nasty bro... It wouldnt hurt to clean the room before you start growing. After all there will be some humidity in there, and there are probably some type of critters in that carpet fo sho.
But other than that I cant wait to see your results, cool setup...

BTW...Some where above I thought you mentioned that this wasn't a drip system.?.? You are doing drip. drip is supplying nutrients from the top via irrigation lines/driplines. then it goes throught he hydroton filled netpot...just like you describe. Then drains and recirculates.
So you have a 4"pvc recirculating drip system. Did I miss something?
Oh yeah...You better put some type of porous block in the drains...So that the roots don't follow the path down...It happens...If you can.
Nice system though. it'll work, can't wait to see performance???

The pressure actually makes mine spray like a hose turned on full blast.....a drip in my eyes is considered a slow releasing water supply system, not fast water pressured system.

well, we run dripper lines wide open with a 600gph pump and it is much like your describing...We still call it drip, but I like your argument...all good. Irrigation Ok...I will buy that, then we are all irrigating our plants...LOL
Actually I went back to the drip stakes and like it very much...so far...................I feel the wind changin direction's...LOL

So are you a floyd fan cool check this still got my ticket from a concert they did at earls court.The day before i went the stand collapsed where i was going to sit so they re-issued new tickets as we arrived for that stand.So i got to keep the whole ticket intact lucky hey. I was tripping when i went and it was the funniest thing ever did'nt remember most of it but it all came back to me when my bird bought me the vid of the concert.
