I used to smoke on a daily, if not hourly basis. If I didn't smoke for a day, that would be enough to make me feel pretty crappy. I'd get bored extra easy, and I'd generally be kinda grumpy. And I wouldn't get hungry at all. In fact sometimes I'd get stomach aches and headaches. I couldn't think straight, and I couldn't sleep at all.
When I first moved here, I suddenly had to become totally sober. Knowing that I couldn't get any weed made me delirious. The first few months were awful. I became an insomniac, and I felt really depressed.
But many ppl say that weed has no physically addicting properties. Even if that's true, the strong mentally addicting properties overrides any lack of physically addicting properties.
i smoke atleast a bowl or 2 a day if i try to even go a day without smoking (this usually happens around 8 o clock if i havent smoked all day)i get really depressed i see no pointin living i think life is pointless and i will never be anything then i smoke a bowl and im fine again, i seem to only understand everything when m high kinda like i am now
I usualy get grumpy as shadowfox said, i usualy get really paranoid aswell i duno where its come from gets really annoying sometimes though, and same again to shadowfox i dont become hungery n i get headaches:(
I normally smoke at least once a day.. After no smoking for about 2 days, I'll get really cranky and irritable. It almost feels like my body is slowing down and going into some kind of very minor state of depression. I'll get tired early in the evening, and I'll also get really bored and won't feel like doing anything. And of course my girl smokes with me, so when I don't have smoke, she don't have smoke. And when happens, we're at each other's throats constantly :D:rolleyes:
Right now I'm trying to work on lowering my tolerance. So far so good, but man I wanna smoke!!
I'm just extremely bored but that's mostly because I have nothing to do. I can't sleep either:(
But if I have something to do then I don't think it's much of a problem.
I was without weed for 2 days and felt like shit. I had horrible, very vivid and long dreams, couldnt sleep, and got very bored and depressed. I was howerver in a different town, had done a lot of partying, drinking and some shitty xtc, my sleep patterns were really fucked up ( still are) and had done a lot of smokin during past weeks. One week i smoked 20 grams. Normally i dont even smoke every day. Yesterday night i smoked a good ampunt with my friend and i am better but not very good. I am a little depressed. I dont think has all to do with weed however.
When I was able to smoke everyday, I would smoke at least three bowls a day. I cant remember many days going without, but I dont think it was so bad. Maybe you all get depressed because you use weed to excape, and without it, you are stuck in reality! Im not trying to be a bitch or anything, but maybe if you were happy in real life, those days without wouldnt be so bad. I remember when I was without, I still was to busy to really let it get to me. Although right now, Id kill for a bowl.... Its been almost two months! I may start to go crazy!
I kind of agree with Miserylue. It really depends on how you feel when you're not high. If you're relatively happy, and you can find something to keep yourself occupied when not high, then you shouldn't really have any problems laying off weed for a few days. Heck, I do it on purpose every once in a while just to make sure my will power is still going strong, plus when you smoke after 3-4 days of being sober, it's that much more satisfying :)
Nothing negative for me... just boredom and thats a maybe. -shrugs-

It's happening right now. Fucking pissed as shit. To top it off I'm talking to some lady with garbage english about my credit card. OMFG I figured it out without that dumb bitches help. I would be punching holes in the wall but I would just have to fix the fucking wall later.

I get grouchy and bored and I start to feel kind of cagey, like, "I gotta get out of here!" But it's been so long since I've smoked, I think about 2 weeks, and I'm over it. As soon as the cash starts flowing again I'll be right back at it!
i smoke pretty daily as well (in fact i'm smoking at the moment ;) )
the only time i tend to stop smoking for days is after i roll once in a while. i am normally drained of all emotion for a day or so, so i don't even desire weed (all i desire during this period is more E hahahaa). well while i'm not high for a few days i notice my sleep is really messed up, with very disturbing dreams and sporadic waking. but that's probably coupled with the after-x experience and not just because i happened to stop smoking for days at a time. also i loose about 3 pounds cause i can't eat shit for like 60 hours :eek: . but yeah usually a day without weed is a pretty fucked up day.
I don't even remember how it feels like not to go a day without smoking. I'd imagine just thinking about wanting to smoke so bad, and it consumes your mind. It's all mind tricks, however they continue to trick me :)
The hardest part of quitting (which I don't know why anyone would...?) is trying to sleep. Get past 2 days of that, and well, quite frankly I forgot what we're talking about.
i didn't smoke at all except for vacations for about 20 yrs. work thing. before that i smoked every day. now i'm back to every day. still feels good. I can go day(s) but why. don't feel crappy just not happy. life's too short not to be happy!
a day sucks.. but after 2 days for me i start to get really depressed, disgusted, and worked up to the point where i start to feel sick in the stomach and light headed. my friend gets really bad headaches.
its weird because i do the same thing every day.. all day every day (for my free time) is spent either looking for weed, looking for ways to get money to get weed, or smoking weed.. when im not doing those things i have NOTHING else to do. . which leads to boredom.. and that just sucks. and i think its that boredom and the fact that i have no idea what to do with myself that makes me most disgusted and depressed.
I've found that as long as I'm working (got a job) its not bad at all... Its when you got nothing to do, nowhere to go, your cars broke, you've failed out of school and your living at home, thats when it'll get to ya...

I can go on and off weed without any problem. Mabe i get diharea, but im always changing my diet form helthy to junk food, so it could be that.

well about the whole getting sick from weed.. im sure that its more in my head than anything - but i still feel it.. get what i mean?
yeah i should try buying in bulk.. and having it for like a week without worrying about where i was going to get my next pipe - that would be nice.. i would just have to do some heavy moderation, and maybe gain a little self control so i dont smoke it all in one night.
I ran out of weed last week and went 7 days without smoking, due to my dealer being out of town for the weekend and then being dry when he came back for several days. I noticed no physical effects, I just wanted to smoke really bad for a while (yeah, I know, I'm psychologically addicted but I don't care). After a couple days though I just learned to accept the constant sobriety and was able to hold out until I got my sack. And boy, after seven days a little bit of THC can go a looooooong way.
well ta b honest, im high so often that when i go sober fer a day er 2 i actually feel like im high on sumthin else, juss cuz ov how weird erythin feelz. prolly the worst part ov smokin eryday then havin 2 miss a day iz the fact that yer sittin there bored off yer ass. u can get a slight depressed feelin but az far az not wantin 2 live cuz yah dunt have pot ta smoke, well if yer at that point id seriously consider quittin. an az fer the addicitivenes, well i say fuck callin anythin addicitive. i betcha yall spend more time watchin tv then smokin bud, but we dunt say that the tv iz physically addicitve do we? the point iz that anythin you like will prolly become "addicitve"

I spend much more time smoking pot than watching TV but I think you very well could argue that TV is addictive.
