Uhh....weird incident happened just now...

I came home not too long ago. I get in and right away my mom tells me she's pis testing me. In my head I'm saying "oh FUCK" but, I acted fast and started freaking out. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN A DRUG TEST? YOU DON'T FUCKING TRUST ME? (I never swear in front of my mother) I'LL TAKE YOUR GOD DAMN TEST AND WHEN I TEST NEGATIVE, I DON'T WANT YOU TO TALK TO ME UNTIL I SAY IT'S OK FOR YOU TO DO SO." (a bit extreme)

I was obviously going to test positive, considering I smoked on saturday night. Anyways, it turns out she was joking about the test and was probably testing me to see if I would confess or something.

I'm a little freaked out now because what if I do get a drug test soon?

I don't think you should speak to your mother that way.

Just take it and fail it, and say "hey at least it ain't crack or smack".

or quit being such a cocky little stoner, and respect your mother and quit smoking until you move out, or are 25 :rasta: :rasta: :stoned:

Thats what i did with my mom and it worked great.

Yeah, I don't think "honor thy father and mother" is a very good commandment. Respect should be earned, and sometimes people (even parents) behave in such a manner that respect is not merited.

You're living with someone who is supporting your existance. Its simple ethics. Someone supports you, you obey persons rule. Sure i agree with you that your mother shouldn't think smoking is wrong. But you are her underaged child. Tis the rules of the game.

Get a job and move out if you want the right to talk to your parent as an adult.
Otherwise stick to the role of a child. Thats what you are. Don't get me wrong, I'm not age bashing. I feel the same way in any situation where an individual (lets say consumer to clear things up) is the sole provider for another person.

Yeah, parents get annoying sometimes. We've all been there.. but I wouldn't even think of swearing AT my mom.

i agree with the "respect should be earned by a parent". they are just people too, and if a person isnt treating you the way you want to be treated, then you've gotta stand up for yourself. We are all our indevisual selves and nobody has the right to take that away from us.

what he said, im not saying im an angel but i NEVER raise my voice to either of my parents and never talk to em like that, no matter how freaked or pissed i am

also, if you have any friends who dont smoke keep a jar of their urine handy, i went to a strict all boys school where they did random drug tests, i managed to get out of it by acting cool, the teachers would have meetings in the library and id be oin the students room listening in (we always had someone listening so we could prepare the people who were to be tested) whenever my name was mentioned for a possible test most of them would just laugh at the idea of me smoking... so thats how i got out of it, i knew some twins though, one of em smoked the other didnt, every morning before school the non smoker would piss in a tiny bottle, which his brother kept hidden in a small fake coke can container..... hed bring in a few cans with him, telling the teachers that he needed to drink before taking a piss, and it worked out well..... so yeah.... thats one way of doing it....

Tell her that it is second hand smoke. Several of your friends were toking around you and you said no thank you when they passed you the joint.
