Ok you get a No Heat call... There is heat through out the house but one room... the Heating plant is a oil fired hot water hydronic boiler... the heating system is a monoflow loop system... the heating element is hot water baseboard... the home owner bled the baseboard and there is still no heat to the one room... What could be causing it???

Sounds like your control valve (zone valve) is froze shut. Same thing happened to the rents boiler valve. Very common thing.......
Have a good one!

When did it stop working? After a cold stretch? Did someone fuck with something?

A zone valve usually puts out a whole floor but it could be controling one room so your answer could be correct but,,, not likely...
So for all intents and purposes it is not the zone valve but,,, Good answer...

I dunno guys, all that mumbo jumbo sounds a bit farfetched.

Well, if it's not that then it has to be a clogged register........within the fins. That don't sound right though because that would stop flow thoughout the system, being a closed loop.
If this room is at the end of the loop it could be where the water temp in the system has cooled to that point........boiler temp o.k.?
I know on my parents boiler system they have seperate zone valves for the bedrooms/bath, living room/kitchen, basement, and they just had one installed for the master bedroom.
Good luck and let us know........I'd DEFINATELY be interested.

Must be a new home your parents have to be zoned like that or they have payed the plumber to fit it as such after it was built...
I fixed the problem in this house... it is not clogged per say but,,, there is no movement of hot water in the pipe and baseboard...
