DAY 1, NATURAL SUNLIGHT FOR 1 Week!
After 1 Week Outside In Socal-weather I decided to bring them in and start them on the 4x CLF's :allgood:
Day Two! Light Cycle: 24/0, The bigger plant seems to be a little bit droopy today, So I Modified my grow box, I added a small Fan which is now making the baby's Flail in the wind, which is a nice change. Ive also added a bigger Box around my plant to trap in the light. :allgood:
everything i,ve read says no to multiple plants per pot. you probably want to do that now while they're still small. the more the roots grow they're gonna start getting tangled and it will be pretty hard if not impossible to seperate later
perhaps the drooping is high temps what is the temp in there
30 Celcius, about 86Farenhiet, I just took the topp off and opend a window trying to get them around 80F.
Im just waiting for the smaller one to die, Im pretty sure it will, then Im going to remove it.Quote:

You actually want at least 2 plants, just because it would suck to spend all that time and effort to find out your only plant is a male. 2 plants gives you a you a better chance of getting a girl. Good luck though :rasta:Quote:

Also the 2 plant thing but it sounds like you have it sorted.
Hmmmm, well Im sure this strain is used to hot weather cause im here in Sunny Socal, I do think 30c is a lil warm, but I think its right on the edge, Ill let you know the temps at night since I opend a window.
hi
just wana know wat kinda fan u got going
plzcan u add pics
thanks
is in or outblowing?
thanks
Day 3, Of 24/0 Ligh Cycle, the fan is blowing in. Its a wierd fan, I dont know, it has a wierd shape, its strong enough to where i can feel the air escaping through the top.
You can see the fan in Picture 2 of Day 2 above :)Quote:

If your ever interested, you should be able to pick up whats called a "waredrobe box". You can get them at moving company's, or sometimes I see Lowe's carry them also.
If you've never seen them their kinda neat. they have a metel bar that runs along the top of the box so you can hang your clothes. They can take a fair amount of weight, and are roughly 2x2x4.5. that might not be exact but pretty darn close. I've used them yeeeaaaarrsss ago! When I first started indoors. I didn't have the greatest of harvest's at that time because of my limited knowledge, but I remember they do work pretty well.
However this is the part where I tell you that growing inside a cardboard box, can be unimanagbly...no wait....unimanag...forget it....it just be down right scarey;)
Cardboard, heat, water, and electricity....these things don't get along together to well. I do understand though you gotta do what you gotta do...just be carefull! Use your head, and make sure you purchase the best timer's your money can buy!
Okay Thanks Rollone, I dont really have any $$ right now thats why im using cardboard.
My friend works at Lowest, I took some measurments for an idea I have today, going to see if he can get me some cheap wood for free or just a few bucks and Im going to make an enclosement and paint the wood white :)
Yah, cardboard is gonna have to do for now, I have all the cables up high, nothing touching the groud cept the Pot itself, and Im trying to be careful :)
Update: Day 4 of 24light
Seperated the plants, everythings looking okay, The Runt plant in the first two pics, the bigger but less organized plant last 2 photos. :pimp:
Thats too hot, i dont care were u r from or what u were told you need to keep the temps Below 25 Degrees Celcius, between 20 and 25 degrees C is ideal.Quote:

plants are lookin good. natural light is always the best if you can get it dierect enough. I don't know if you've already considered this but relocating the plants from outdoors to indoors increases the potential for infestation. The bugs that are on your plants outside will eat only your plants when they come inside. I'm not saying don't put them outdoors at all, but have the appropriate means (insecticides, etc.) beforehand if bugs ever do become a problem.
Yes ive noticed some small bugs, i am going to look into that one Mite killer and apply it soon.
they seem to be doing well, one thing though the clear cup will probably cause a prob when the roots start growing towards the sides, roots dont like light, at least wrap the cup in something to black out the sides
got some fertilizer, its about time, and some mite killer.
you should switch them into styraphome cups or however you spell it, trust me there ive tried using both clear and styraphome, they should grow up to a foot and a couple inches before you have to change into a bigger pot.
Changed the clear pot, put it in a regular pot :)
Sprayed some of that Malathion. 1tsp/1gallon of water, i douced the undersides to kill the mites, I will re-apply in 1 week and start with Fish Emulsion 5-1-1 the same day.
Pics to come later.
Day 8, applied Malathion today, 1tsp to gallon, sprayed both plants, they are indoors, is it safe with such a small ammount? Ive heard malathion is one of the safest because it desolves into carbon monoxide.
:rasta:
bigger plant is in clay pot, is distorting now and not as compact as other :(
thats what happens alot when you use cfls they will start to stretch i just picked up two 40 watt daylight t12s i hope they work out good you might want to get some new lights before they start to stretch or order some more watted cfls off the internet
day 9, got some curling on the biggest plant, what gives.
pre-pistils? im new
those are more sets of leaves growing
did the leaf curling happen around the time you watered?
I think they are heat related, the tips curl down sometimes during the middle of the day, and they flatten out later.
UPDATE: Day 11, technically about day 20 or so with germ and being outside for one week.
Going to start Fish emulsion soon. :pimp:
how often a week, every time?
Even though the fish emulsions is organic, maybe not give it every watering. Some people do ferts every other or every third water. Anyway, thats a damn nice looking plant you got there. It looks indica. If im not mistaken, Indica plants like cooler temps.
Hmmm whats the difference, Is it a more bed-lock High?
yeah, indica plants will make you just want to sit or lay down... sativa is a head energetic social high.
your plants look okay, one thing i would do would be put a cfl over the top and keep it a little closer than they are now, then they wont stretch so much and should grow faster.
Are you gonna top them? or LST them? or just grow them straight? just wonderin...
oh, and i dont care that you tried being a smartass on my thread the other day, you can hate me or my plants as much as you like, im just here to help...
Okay, Its about 5 months later and Im at it again, Ill update w Pics when on daily basis as before.
This time im starting with 4 seedlings, wish me luck, enjoy the ride.
