I Broke a 350 $ Zong

My case was either misplaced or stolen. So I wrapped it in blankets and put it in my trunk. It was fine for 5 days. Then the stem part broke


It's a 3 and 1/2 foot glass on glass zong. I need to know how to fix it. The zong itself is fine. The stem part is broken in two places. So 3 total pieces of glass and a few tiny pieces. But overall it's a CLEAN break I think.

Anyone ever break a glass bong/zong/pipe/bubbler ect. and fix it?!? If so what did you do? Any special types of glue, tape, ect. ???


THIS IS URGENT. There is no glass blowing place in my area.

i just searched for zong's because i have never heard of them and the most expensive piece i could find was like 70 bucks or something

go to aheadshop and get a new stem, someone already told you waht to do lol.. just make sure you're getting the right size, i only know of two main sizes, but i think there's three... just make sure you take the old stem (if you still have it) or your bowl, to make sure you're getting the right size... might just wanna get a couple extra too just incase, they aint' but a few dollars anyways..

Just buy a new stem, they should be under $10.. Is it a rubber seal, or glass on glass? Post pics.

yeah a picture would help us alot. if its a rubber gromet slide and you just broke the female slide then you can just go buy a new one (or a diffuser if you wanna spend a little more) but it doesnt sound like the actually chamber or anything are cracked or broke so the good news is if its just the stem it can be replaced. depending if its a 2 piece or 3 piece you may or may not be able to fix it dude. sorry =(

that sucks i broke my color changing bowl like a week after i got it, all i did was tap it out with a lighter =(

lol i cracked the shit out of my pipe doing that... it's fine tho for now... i'm sure another good hit and it's going to bust, and it's at the front of the pipe, if the mouthpeice is the back... so there won't be any fixes for it or anything, it'll just be gone..

first of all 300 dollars is a little steep that is something i wouldnt ever spend on a breakable piece unless i knew i could easily afford to replace it. personally id rather buy a nice sturdy fifty dollar bong and two fifty worth of weed for that money. but like everyone said just buy a new stem anyone who owns a bong breaks a stem now and then it is bound to happen

lol, you think 300 is a bit much for a bong, try on the 1,000$+ roors for size :eek: that's way too much to spend on a peice of glass, i dont' care how detailed, or specifily designed it is, the materials and labor probably added up 200 dollars.. lol

yeah after all of it smoke is still smoke is the way i see it as long as it lets you breath it in efficiently and isnt poisonous

All i know, if it's anything like a roor (roar?) bong, that really fucking sucks. My buddy just got a gorgeous 2-2.5 footer roor (roar?)...I say just get a new steam, dear.

roor, thats right

Still need to get a fixed or get a new stem.

There is a way to fix it, but it'll defeat the purpose of the roor. Is the male or female slide still intact?
