Need a bit of advice..brother found my pipe.

Okay so. My brother and his friend come in my room to get his playstation, and he wants to show his friend my "cool beanie" ( the kind with the ear flaps :) ). He picks it up and my piece falls out... He giggles and i grab it and put it in my lap,then they leave. He comes back a few seconds later and says "Don't worry I won't tell.*giggles*" Then he says "Let me have some,c'mon, let me have some tomorrow!" and does a hand motion of smoking out of a pipe. Only problem is hes fucking 12..almost 13& is in 7th grade. I know some people started smoking then, I started when i was 13& in 8th grade, but i just think its too young for him. So i'm thinking NO, but at the same time...if he is so quick to say he wants to smoke, hes probably going to do it anyway. And i'd much rather him smoke in my room with me, from my stash, my supervision, and just safely..

We've had "drug talks" before because i knew middle school is when i started, and i always told him to talk to me if he ever thought about any kind of drug.

What do you guys think i should do? :confused:

i think your going about it very responsibly. i think its most important that if hes going to use it, that he does it with someone who knows exactly whats up.

i did the same with my brother, though he tried it at 16 instead of 12/13... which IMO is extremly young to already be into weed.

Smoke with him.

Like you said, hes gonna do it anyway. How do you know he hasn't done it yet?

When I first started I was dumb, after smokin' at a friends house and finding out my sister smoked I was like "Can I buy pot off you?" rofl...she didn't know I knew she toked, so she denied it.

I bought some weed off her once, got ripped off too.

Be a good sis(?) and hook your brother up. He WILL do it anyway, and it won't be hard for him. I was 12 when I started. Just make sure you give him guidance on do's and dont's. No one ever gave me those and I made an ass of myself sometimes.

At the same time, when i smoked at the age i was irresponsible with grades, which is something that i DONT want him to do.

There's only one thing you can do, and that's to KILL HIM. Ha hahahaha!! :D

If he's serious about it, yeah I would smoke with him and teach him some stuff. Much better to let him learn it from a master :P

Yeah but there are some serious dumbasses in schools, he'll probably end up smoking with them instead if you don't let him.

But I love him too much to kill him. :)

Yeah I know what you mean pu ekot. I smoked with a lot of dumbasses in middleschool.

Which is why you need to tell him to keep his grades up. Smoking doesn't relate to grades a whole lot. If hes blowing off homework and studying to smoke, then yeah, but otherwise I wouldn't worry too much about it. Motivate him. Maybe say something like "For every A you get I'll smoke you out" well, maybe like "For ever B I'll smoke you out, for every A I'll smoke you out twice" or something else, since that might burn through your stash smoking him out 10 times every report card.

Thats a good idea Friv. And i agree, smoking doesn't have a lot to do with grades, it was just my attitude. For all i know, smoking can cause him to study harder. I don't believe the bullshit lack-of-motivation shit they feed out.
And im not stingy at all with my stash as long as the person(s) and i enjoy it together.

I dont go for that, smoke me out, oh now i gotta go bullshit.

I think Frivolous made sense. I would smoke with him so that at least you know how he acts when he's stoned and how much he can handle so if anything does happen, you'll know how to help him. I also think he'll be able to be more honest and open with you.

I decided to smoke with him this weekend when i get my half oz :)

yay, that's what I did with my baby brother except he was like 11 and I was around 14..just make sure you always got your eye on him.

Yeah I'm home with him a lot. We're pretty close. I'd much rather smoke him out, then some weird ass kids smoking him out. We don't live in the best of area as well. Thanks for the advice/tips everyone! :rasta:

Tell him you'll smoke him out if he stays out of trouble and keeps his grades up, motivate his ass!

Teach him the facts of life, smoker's ettiquete, how to act at parties and how to not act.

I see where you're coming from. But i'd rather get caught WITH him rather than him end up in a fucked up situation which could be a lot worse. Hes my BROTHER, not just some friend.

I would say yes only if he was exceptionally mature which I gurantee he probably isn't. Hes just under the bar of what I would consider a smoking age to be. At 13 you are still pretty much a child,just wait till hes started highschool and gotten into the groove a little.

He might just get totally into the stoner way of life like some young guns do and never try any other cliques or groups

yo i'd wait until you know he's not going to tell all of his friends he smoked pot with his brother. I'd joke about it for a while, i.e. like if he's with some friends while youre home, address them with "what are you stoners up to." I'd wait til he's 13 and in 8th grade really.

Good reasons to say yes:

1. You are not being a hypocrite.
2. He's not putting himself at risk of dealing with a bad supplier, if he is able to go thru your supplier.
3. If he gets in trouble about something, he'll tell you, instead of lying to you. The ability to call someone older in a bad situation without the fear of getting reamed out for it keeps kids safer.
4. Kids should gain a sense of self-efficacy early on and he's old enough to make his own decision on this one, until proven otherwise.

I really think you should talk him into waiting 1 year, MAYBE talk him into waing 2 years..


But, if he does smoke, it's better he smokes with you..





Also, if he get's busted, TAKE THE BLAME FOR HIM.. It's better that way.

I didn't really see that he's 12... lol.. DO NOT let him smoke yet.. But still.. IF he does, let him do it under YOUR supervision, that WOULD make you a better brother..

I would definatly take the blame as my mom knows i smoke,(she thinks ocassionaly).
