Hey...I was just wondering ...
what is a good way to tell ur dealer or someone who is selling u weed that you know what hydroponics is when they say "I got hydro" without sounding like a complete stuck up douche bag?
I dont want to be like "...I know that the quality of the result of hyroponically grown weed is no better than regularly grown weed"
or "Ok...its hydroponically grown....so is it kb? or mids?"
what do I say to let him know he can be straight foward with me and not treat me like a bitch? lol

no, actually in terms of quality, there's not... matter of fact the only real diffrence i know of, is quantity...
as for what to say i don't know... out of those two i would say the latter... but you have to remember, alot of people do use the term hydro just to mean really good weed, some people just really don't know the diffrence and when they say hydro, they dont' actually mean hydroponicly grown weed, they mean good weed...

the only difference is that hydro grows faster and yeilds more. the quality is still the same for the most part.

well ive heard from all over this site that when using hydroponics, it just yields a greater amount of bud in less time

The only difference is the yield and the rate of growth, I really hope you don't think theres a difference in the potency with hydroponically grown and soil grown.

Ofcourse it CAN be alot better..
It all depends on the grower..

HYDRO better than ORGANIC, uh oh maybe i stumbled into the wrong forum.
quanity not quality, thats what hydro reminds me of .
thats like saying test tube babies are better than regular babies.
sure roots in a table can get HUGE but with out the right scientist style grower ,all you get is nasty little compact buds, full of FERTILEZER

LOL... come on... you HAVE to be kidding.
Hydroponicly grown weed is no stronger than soil grown, it simply grows faster, thus making it good for commercial grows.

Just tell the dude you're not interested in how the plants got their nutrients when they were alive, you just want to know what the strain and quality are. If he tells you the strain is 'hydro', then go find a smarter dealer. ;)
