Just gets trashed, dumped, tossed
It goes with the other sewage to a sewage treatment plant, where it's gradually filtered out, along with the paper, the tampons, and all the other stuff people flush, and separated from the waste water. Different municipalities do different things with the collected sewage, which is often dried and ground--and, for that matter, they do different things with the waste water, too. Often the treated, dried sewage is used in land fills since it's largely biodegradable (but very nasty). Call your city and ask them what they do with it in your area. Ideally, they do something environmentally sound.
Now you know. . . .
There is waste management plants all over the country that take care of that problem. I'm not sure what they exactly do with it all, but it will break down and pretty much dissapear into the earth if not taken care of properly.
Ha ha, poo. :D
Lol wow, that was a interesting read. Thats Birdgirl, you are very knowledgeable :D.
I know my sh-t! Actually I just know what happens to it in our city--and have seen stuff on PBS about water conservation and environmental topics that covered this subject. It's one of those processes that seems incomprehensible once you've flushed, isn't it? The stuff that we churn up in our disposals goes in with the sewage, too.
In the vaginal area.
Do you like to eat Mushrooms???

Whatever the type, his real point was the fact that particular myco-vegetable matter is grown in, yes, dried manure. Just like that's what goes in those big bags of compost we spread in our flowerbeds.
