ROASTING THE GREEN HIT..dont do it around me!

i hate when people get passed a bowl for the green hit and they roast it ..
it should be a law against that ....commonly at parties ill pack up bowls and pass them to another dj or promoter and they will roast the whole top..

now in my area thats like saying fuck you ...i dont even burn up the green when im by myself ....it should always go burn the out side corners first..then
flip it over and go from there .......to be a dick to my boys who dont learn respect ,ill pack a corner of KEIF and smoke it all by my self then pass it ///

I like to pack greens, take greens every time, and burn it all.

Helps remind people that it's my weed that they are smoking. If I'm going to be the only one paying then damn right there are going to be some perks.

I ALWAYS corner hit a bowl. When people don't corner hit a bowl I just think they are unexperienced smokers or it was an accident. Sometimes it happens ya know. I remember not too long ago I accidently did it(wind blowin an shit or something)..so I apologized to my friends. Well one of my friends happend to be the kid that sold me the herb and hes like "I always take the whole green, if I am selling this shit to you, I deserve to take the green..and thats just how it is.."
...I just don't get it man, I feel if you corner it a bowl it lasts longer.

in my area we roast the top of it no matter what. no one justs roasts the corners. :P so if i toke with u ever ill know to roast the corners :P

Really? This is weird to me to hear of people not corner hitting the bowl.

When you roast the green the middle of the bowl burns down faster.

If you corner hit it each time and try to conserve the green the bowl lasts longer.
Or maybe it's all in my head.
Either way I am OCD about corner hitting.

My friends and I always go around the corners so everyone gets a bit of green... it's my homegrown, and has a really sweet taste on the green hits especially... if it's some commercial whatevers, all bets are off! =p

Although the green hits have the most taste, I've noticed seconds and thirds produce bigger/stronger hits. After get the fire burnin' a bit.

People that corner the bowl are either broke, and every hit counts, greedy about weed, or smoking has consumed your life to the point of making up rules and throwin a hissy fit when sombody breaks them... like friendowl said, just smoke another one.

I think when people bitch about shit like that, they're taking smoking a little bit too seriously. I definitly agree that there's some things people do that are disrespectful while smoking, but honestly..I'm not going to ask one of my stoned-as-hell buddies to only smoke the corners. I say, when I hand someone a green hit, I'm saying "GET FUCKED UP BISH!" not "OOH..only smoke the edges please and thank you"

I have a problem of being far too gracious when it comes to packing bowls. Even if I know I don't have the weed to do it...I still will. I just don't care...I worry about it later.
Hence the reason why I am weedless right now.
..I remember the days of having an ounce a week.
Those days are long gone.

its a young thing i guess to not care ...even my farmer gets shitty when people cash bowls,and he has tons..

i actually saw a detriot kid punch a kid in the grill over trying to cash a bowl!!

Um, because we usually only smoke a couple bowls at a time and there's usually 3 or 4 of us, and we smoke a couple bowls, then go do something else, then come back and mabye smoke one more... It has nothing to do with being poor or taking rules to far, its a simple thing. Dont roast the entire bowl holding the lighter on there for 15 seconds because thats just stupid. Then on the 4th or 5th hit the whole bowl is cashed because some dumbass doesnt know what he is doing. It's just a smart thing to do, why get only 4 or 5 hits out of something when you can get 10? Torching the entire bowl is just the same as getting spit all over the blunt. People are going to think you are a noob and not want to smoke with anymore. If you going to smoke atleast be educated a bit about it.

I been toking since '97 and not once have I heard anyone bitch someone out about torching the bowl.

I see the etiquette in it, and now I think about it, it's a cool concept. I don't see torching a bowl the same offensive regard as n-lipping a blunt. I mean it's usually the one that has the weed that packs the bowl, and if they're torching their weed, well it's their weed. I would be grateful enough that they're smoking me down. I would hardly think someone is a noob for torching their weed. If I gave them freshes....maybe, but it's just weed, it comes, and go, but it's always there.

yeah i agree its just proper smoke ettique. when i load a bowl i tell my friends "corner that shit" and they do because ive taught them. when your at a friends place its a little more relaxed. when your smokin up at a dealers place or a party people may get out of hand so you have to let some things go ya know? but if someone does torch the whole bowl instead of yelling WTF just let them know "hey bro try cornering that next time eh?" and if they dont know what your talking about TEACH them. theres a lot of people bitching about how people dont do something there way...the solution folks is to educate your fellow stoner?! just like a noob drinker doesnt like the taste of a shot so you introduce them to a chaser of some kind and they'll thank you for that. just like if a noob smoker doesnt know about cornering teach/show them and they'll pass it on hopefully.

also if its just a few people around then you can always load snappers/singles that way you dont have to worry about cornering you can just take the whole thing. by the way ive heard some people oppose cornering in party bowls because well "its my green hit so ill take what i want" and some believe that, others dont. teach. educate. learn. talk.

i get the whole idea of savoring the green... but in most cases with me i really didnt care, or the other people were matching so it didnt matter. i was with this one guy that would tell me to "save some green" at first i was like what the hell dude? your gonna make me smoke the already burnt shit because you want a better tasting hit next time? but he stopped smoking after all the green was gone so i didnt really mind all that much. smoking is smoking to me, i get high either way and i know im gonna get a nice solid green hit when i pack the bowl next.... just my thoughts
