IS SMOKING TOGETHER spreading viruses?

i always talk to my friends about this,,,,,,

when you smoke with every one and their brother,,are you speading colds ,and other things....
like one time my guy had his brother over and we were all gettin high ,joking around ,,having a good ol time.....then about 2 weeks later i found out
that my boys brother is gay and has aids.....i was LIKE WHAT..are you serious

and everybody smokes with this guy ,,he's actually real cool...
but man ,if i had a choice i wold of passed..
i live in a area that GETS down to -20 in the winter and 120 dgress in the summer,and has every imaginable kind of kid....

every nationality,,,,,man and i smoke with everyone when im dj'ing
sometimes i got to wonder ,,,am i passing around germs to my friends and are they passing germs to me ...

anyways ...i dont see a way to really change things --BUT DOES THIS

you can't get aids from someone's mouth unless their mouth is bleeding. the dude could spit in your mouth and you wouldn't get it. colds and communicable stuff like that can get passed, but if i am sick or smoking i usually wipe the mouthpiece with my shirt and then flame the end for like 3 seconds before i pass it. most of my friends do the same. its a common courtesy kind of thing.

yea i know about the aids thing ,,,but would you still smoke if you knew someone had aids????

we always wipe too but fireing up the mouth peice thats new to me...

kids around my area are TROLLS they dont even caremost the time
so i stopped smoking with some of my BOWL BURNING friends

I know plumbers with aids and they are not drugies,good people,,, true to their family life... so it can be spread through feces,,,and you can get it from a toilot seat... that was a good line though DS...

i had a friend who had some backbone virus that was horrid..his backbone pretty much was decaying.. but i didnt care.. i took the safty measures to insure i didnt get it.. corse he had his random spazzes and hallusinations and thought i was a giant spider and chased me with a damn shovel... true story

you cant get aids from saliva

i got bronchitis from leon once after we shared a bowl.

yea i always think that my colds are caused by my friends or aquaintences..

i get really weird when im out of the country,,when i am in maria bulgaria ,i dont smoke with many people ...lots of girls have mouth herpes out there because ,oral sex is so popular in the sex trade out there..hot.girls out there will blow you for 3 dollars american,its crazy and they are all like bad ass porn stars ..they are right to the point ,and leave no mess,,its crazy !!!

for real there are doctors that wont work anywhere around infectious diseases...its in there contracts .my dad caught hepititas before he died of cirrosis of the liver,,,and two of his doctors refused to see him ...

in my town you can go to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT and get tested for everything for FREE....they dont even ask you your name ever ,,they jyst asign you a number....its all very confidential......if youve had sex with as many girls as i have getting tested makes you feel like a new person when your results come back NEGATIVE...man i felt like crying on my way to get the results ,,,I was like man i know 1 out of 164 was a dirty birdie....
but I guess i got to thanks all the ladies i loved before for not being as big of whores i thought...

seems to me only clean stoners are ones with girlfriends up there ass about cleaning or wifes.....
i used to live in a tweeker pad ...one time there was a hog head from a cookout on our counter for so long ,it started to fester and leak ooz..
we used to look at it when we were trippin,we eventually just put up a blanket over the door way ...and used bathroom to wash up ...lol

You can't get HIV/AIDS from smoking with people. Unless they slobber all over the joint/piece AND leave blood on it, there's no risk. Only if there's blood in the saliva will you be at risk.. and even then, the next person would have to have an open sore or something in their mouth. It's possible, but very rare.

Anyways, of course you can spread viruses and colds smokin' with other people. I've had a cold the last week or so and I let my friends know that I did. They still smoked w/ me. Even though I don't slobber and shit, I always made sure I wiped off the piece well after I took a hit. Don't want to get my friends sick! :)

i just think its weird --as a SOCIETY we wont usually share forks or drinks,or ciggs
but as far as weed goes alls good.....when i want to get high i guess it doesnt matter,,,but damn it is perty scary if you think about it ...

That's true. I never really thought of it that way. Smoking weed really is the only time people SHARE something that can easily spread germs/colds.. and the funny thing is, a lot of times you may smoke with someone you don't even know. A friend of a friend, or maybe even a stranger you've never met. You wouldn't just share your drink or fork with these people, but yet you can both slobber on the same piece. lol. Strange.

I haven't read any responses in this thread yet. I just wanted to tell you, you aren't going to get aids from fucking sharing a pipe with someone.

Anytime I smoke with someone whose sick we just put the flame on the mouth piece of whatever were smoking out of. Burn the germs off.

Of course it's never a good idea to share germs, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

YES you can get aids from Salivia, GALLONS AND GALLONS WORTH. Pretty UNREALISTIC if you ask me.
Pretty mucn the ONLY way to get aids is through open sores/cuts/wounds that come in contact with the disease.

Even then, it is a low chance of getting it.

Shit you can even have unprotected sex with someone with aids and there is still a low chance of getting it. Of course that is a very stupid idea in the first place, I am just using it as an example. Plenty of people in this world have had sex with infected people without realizing it, only to find out later..and then get tested and it is still negative.
Never should you risk it, I am just saying...it is pretty hard to get aids. You aren't going to get it from making out with someone with aids, unless you both have a canker sore or something...then theres a slight chance. But really, be realistic here guys...not smoking with someone who has aids? Jesus, they're not lepers!
