Accents

Do certain accents turn you on? just wondering because they do with me lol

I definitely find certain accents sexier than others. I tend to be partial to people with similar regional dialects to mine (inland Southern standard American, it's called) and to many British dialects. Voice quality/tone also makes a difference. Everything I've read about dialectical preferences has said that we're predisposed to like the sorts of dialects/accents that we hear from earliest times in utero and early childhood, which is fairly understandable. Those would be the comforting, most familiar sounds.

That is really interesting. I've always found the sound of a girl talking with a happy smile really comforting. Especially when they have more of a light tone.

a french girl speaking english turns me on ;)

Australian...Russian...Spanish...French...in that order.

I find certain British accents to be inexplicably sexy. Oh, and happy 420th post lagstronaut. :)

I talk in Cockney all the time, just dont type it down on this site cos no one would know what the hell im talking about.

I get lots of comments about my voice. ;)
I have a mild geordie accent and a very deep voice and the ladies seem to love it. I also speak fluent Dutch and according to my freinds from the Netherlands I sound more Dutch than a lot of Dutch people do. :D

my accent is very noticable outside of my city, it always gets comments unfortunatly.

I have always loved South Africian, and Australian. I find it very sexy

i wonder if any other language ethnicity thinks the "american accent" is sexy...

I love Eastern European accents- the old-timers who live around here- old Polish and Czech farmers who've been living in New England for ages but still speak the language and speak English with the softest accent...'

And I like the Vermont/Maine/super far north Yankee accent that is probably not going to be noticeable after this generation.

And west African accents are HOT... I'm thinking about a few Senegalese guys I used to know who had GREAT accents.

One of our local female news anchors is from south africa...I agree that accent is pretty sexy.

New Yorkers (i.e brooklyn) accents.

They drive me fucking crazy.

(My old best guy friend had a very heavy ny-er accent and I was madly in love with him..-swoon-)

Southern States U.S Blondes, that are petite.

not at all....

I like the dutch/afrikan accent, well both are pretty similar, to the point where a south african could partially understand dutch. I find it really sexy.

Southern accents are pretty sexy as well.

A soft spoken Irish Girl.. with the more kildare kinda tone.. quite harder to understand than the regular.. also i love women that can talk and talk and talk.. if a cant even hold a convo..i dont wanna know...

Southern accents -- certain European accents when spoken in English -- Also, I worked with this chick from Pakistan she spoke English well but had this sexy accent going on... I especially loved the way she said her 'V's and 'Z's.


Mostly just Southern accents though :) I guarantee ANY guy who gets himself a piece of a true Southern cowgirl is going to learn to love that accent real fast real quick :D

lots of accents turn me on, but i havent heard every accent in the world yet, so i can't pick a fave yet

Russian, italian, spanish, polish, south african, theres loads......OOOO and chinesee accents in little asian girls, thats hott

Australian, French, Irish, English, Russian, okay I'm not going to lie, most of the time I find a woman's voice, period, attractive. ;)
