YIPPEE! I'M MOVIN' TO COLORADO!!!!
of course you still have to remember federal law overrules state law, so technically nothing would change, but at least it is a step!!

Do you guys ever read the news on the homepage LOL?!?! There's always something new everyday about this. In Nevada...if Question 7 passes...they could sell marijuana in stores...
I actually never really go to cannabis.com
I only go to the forums lol

Haha. I'm moving if this passes. :smokin:
Aw shit yeah, I'm probably going to college in Colorado. One more reason to go. One more EXCELLENT reason.
i bet colorado's residency goes way up if it is legalized. frankly i am more excited about nevada's election since they are going to commercialize it and sell it in stores.
Fuck Colorado...the real shit is in Nevada.

Who's the REAL American here anyway?:p (JK ;) )
I am happy for Colorado and will probably even smoke-celebrate if we win. I'd love to be there for the pressure taken off of cannabis but California is still for me :D.
So did the big CO win?
we'll know tomorrow i think.
and by the way im disappointed in some of you. if it passes in CO and NV you shouldnt be moving there you should be trying to convince your state officials SEE IT WORKS THERE, LETS MAKE IT WORK HERE! so forget drug tourism to CO and NV. i mean come on seriously, did smoking herb when it was illegal stop you??!
no no we will know tonight. in like an hour

The election results for MA governor and such are all set...so probably an hour or two depending on when the NV and CO polls ended.
Here's what would happen if you guys did legalize it (which I hope you do!!!):
Town, County (if you have em), and State Police would not be able to arrest or prosecute you if you smoke weed on your property, don't sell weed to minors, and don't sell weed in public (not sure on this last one).
Federal Police (DEA, FBI) would be able to arrest you for all the above. In otherwords, if you a private citizen, you're pretty much safe. People don't call the DEA because there neighbor is smoking pot.
I believe in both states..driving under the influence, and selling to minors penalties will double.
 dude that is cool. r they legalizing only medicinal or just plain out legalizing it all?
All if it does end up being legalized. What that means is you can't really get arrested anymore for toking up on your own land, or selling from your own land (BUT NOT TO ANYONE UNDER 21). Only the state government would recognize this, meaning federal police would be the only ones that could arrest you. You'd even be able to grow in your home, but you'd have to keep off the federal radar.Quote:
