Plz Help. I Think My Plants Dieing.

2x 32gal rubbermaids (my frow box)
7x 27w CFLs on 2x Bathroom fixtures.
120 mm fan for exhust
Scotts Soil 4-5g POTS
3 bag seeds

Ok germinated then planted. 1 out of the 3 grew twice as fast. in one week the roots were through the drain holes. so that one plant i transplanted into a 2 lt bottle. which i black taped the sides to light can't get through and cut holes the bottom for drainage. ok heres the problem

the one plant i transplanted i think i transplanted to soon. the round leafs on the very bottom look fine. the next leaves up (Large single bladed leafe both ways) jsut over night grew 50 of that leafs leaf is yellow and some brown. i an slowly she is welting. i also think i overwaterd so only thing i think i can do is let her dry out for a week or more. anything you guys think i should do to help her?

the other 2 are looking fine. the are both about 10-11 days old. how long until i transplant them. cuz they to have multipule roots trying to come out of the holes. are they fine or give it another week and when i decide to start ading nutes transplant then?

ok so lets get this straight, you only transplanted one out of the three? what kind of mix is your soil? cause the first time i ever transplanted seedlings, i thought i made a really great organic mix but it turns out the chicken manure i used was too hot and i burnt the shit outta the little gals. until the seedlings have 4 sets of real leaves don't fertilize and keep them planted in just plain old potting soil with some perlite or something. i seed in a mix of potting soil that has sand, perlite, and peat moss in it, then i add some more perlite to it so it's almost 50%. they love that stuff! so i would say u gotta re-evaluate your soil until they're bigger.

Or, you could switch to growing with rockwool and set up a hydroponic grow, then u can just set it and forget it, not really, u gota check up on it, but not nearly as much or as often as soil

ok i started off germinating like 12 bag seeds and only 3 germinated. all 3 were put in soil 1 day after the other. soil is Scoots Poting Soil just some extra perlite added. the oldest plant which was about 6 days old at the time had roots come out the bottom. i paniced and transplanted. The other 2 are in the regulare 5-6" pots.

on the the plant that WAS transplanted is having the problems. you got the round leafs. next ones up are the long single bladed leafes. those once are about half yellow and a lil brown on the edges and starting to look like there about to die. the rest of the plant seems to be growing. just last night her 2nd real leafs sprouted. but those 2 leafs are looking like shit. i thought about cuting them but i figured id ask yall what to do. i also think i might of over waterd so im goin to wait to they dry and let them stay dried for a day or so then water only half then get back on schedual. unless she dies.

the other 2 babies are starting to limp downwards and the round leafs on the bottom have a yellow tip. should i be worried?

yikes. im no expert at this as i am just a noob, but i have seeded lots of seeds so far. i found this yellowing/burning occurs in seedlings for a number of reasons. 1)u add nutes too early (i know u havent but i just thought i would include this), 2)the soil is too hot- to rich in nutrients for the plants, 3)the plants dry out too quickly either from underwatering or too hot of a growing area. #3 is how i just recently fucked up some seeds. got too hot, now they're all yellowed and losing leaves- but they were bag seeds already so maybe bad genetics. anyways, like i keep saying- make sure your soil isnt too strong!! honestly, use the shittiest soil you can find. like the cheapest one in the store, quite often a potting soil made by the store. if you arent able to water them super often, keep them in a gardening tray with a dome over them. my newest seedlings are in there with some clones of mine, and they are looking great right now! so try that.....

Ater the seeds germinate put them in individual quart sized Clear cups Planting multiple seeds in the same soil is senseless.

It could be heat stress. what are your temps, does it spike. Dont hve the lights too close

BTW
the little round leaf is called embryonic leafs.
and the normal leafs are called the True leafs

the plant has three stages as we all know. The seedling stage ends when you have 4 nodes of true leafs and the 5th set is very small but visible in the center.

I am not familiar with the soil you use. maybe read about it. Make sure it dosn't have manure or ferts in it. you wana use something like a mix of peat, perlite and sand. Lots of perlite like 50%. you can go up to 100% perlite if you wish. i haven't

can CFLS cause heat stress?

if it gets too hot... probably not from radiant heat (being too close) but they can still heat up the room. The give off less heat, not no heat. you plants would burn if they touched em. Do you know the temp.

just ganked a themperater gage and put it in it. imma wait a half hour and check...

I agree to let them dry out. Make sure your soil drains well. You don't want them to always be wet. Soil without fertilizer and not feeding for a few weeks is a good start. Some people don't like peat, but I grab some peat and perlite and it works good. Peat holds moisture which is good for seedlings in a warm environment.
