DRO? lets stop the stupidity

in my area the gangsta's call anything that is green DRO --its like they cant talk when i bust out the flame organics ,but its weird how smoking differs between the races ....i am a dj and play with all colors of people and have found that even some rich rappers and djs smoke crap because they dont know any better ....whats funny is the more money you got the better weed you smoke ..it aint like that with crack!!!

whats the deal ? im glad rappers have started to talk about quality in there raps ,it makes more dealers step up and stop buying crap

I have put together all my sources and feedback on most of the people that call weed dro and basically I've come to a conclusion that dro just basically means sinsemillia :p.

rap controls what's popular with bud. everything on the block i used to go to was "dro" up until you started hearing "kush" all over the radio. now anything that doesnt have seeds is "kush" down there. just like how a few summers ago everything was blueberry. i don't even take it seriously when someone tells me a strain name. people are trying to make money, they're like car salespeople but with bud. people just say what they think you wanna hear.

Well actually, it surprised me but I talked to some people that dealt and all that and they said they understood that marijuana could be grown hydroponically but said that hydroponic marijuana wasn't what they mean when they say dro. They claim that it "looks different" "more potent" and "seedless" so I'm just assuming it's sinsemillia bud, bud thats not seeded, allowing for more THC production.

dro's just another slang for weed....everywhere you go, theres gonna be a different slang. i only use a few words for the ganja, but a few are 'dro, that green shit, nugs, bud'

i hate when people label all weed as kush cause they obviously have no clue what there talking about or they would say what strain it is. The other day a street dealer told me that he was selling g13, i would have laughed uncontrollably but he was a 6'3" black dude in harlem and i didnt feel like dying...."hey man u want a dime of g13" ROFL

g13 lol unreal I don't know if I could control laughing about that. Some of the names are geting outa hand. Most older tokers I know are like wtf when i use a name for the type of herb it is. Orangeman's deffinition of Dro is called Kind Bud here but yet other people woukld be like wtf is kind bud?

I honestly don't believe hydroponic growing methods would make a plant more potent. I mean maybe it will produce bigger buds, of course I mean you'd be using chemicals about 3 times a day constantly going into the roots so I believe you would have bigger buds but not necessarily more potent than soil grown weed.

You know, this reminds me a lot of the whole conversation over using the term "tripping" over being "stoned".

Down here in Houston (atleast in my circle of friends), dro is anything seedless whereas schwag is the cheaper weed w/ seeds. Basically gentlemen, most of us dont give a fuck. All that I care about is $50 will buy me an O of schwag and $12 - $15 will buy me a gram of dro.

Other then the 'art' of breaking it down (getting all the seeds, stems, and leafs out) I just pack that bowl and smoke it. I couldnt care less about what the technically correct definition is or what the 'slang of the month' is.

It would think that dro, is short for hydro. A method I plan on trying sometimes soon.

the roots in hydro tables can get HUGE and produce MASSIVE tall compact buds ___which are great for selling but ___ ORGANICS are more tastefull-and the high is more natural ---we can argue all day --even if you LEACH your tables REGULARLY HYDRO buds are still CHEMY to my i taste it right away

Lol yeah, I was reading some articles that were basically in Soft Secrets and I keep hearing them say Skunk is just a way more powerful strain than regular marijuana. It had me thinking the Skunk family was the strongest, so much confusion. Sometimes I hate slang :p.

Yea, people don't really understand the difference between regular and middies, and sinsemilla and hydro.

Regular is the horribly stemmy, seed-filled, dry, trimmed buds you buy for REALLY cheap, they're normally imported from Mexico, going through many dealers hence the dryness and the buds all being trimmed down.

Middies are grown similarly to Regular, but are grown locally, which is why they are fresher and not trimmed. Also, since people don't know what's what, dealers will sometimes accidentally sell sinsemilla as Mids, which is very good for us consumers :D

Sinsemilla is where, when growing, the male plants are removed from the female plants so the females spend all their energy on THC production, and don't end up pollinated where they spend the energy making seeds. This is also called "KB", I've heard it called "Chronic" and is, as has been said, called "Dro" a lot too.

Hydro is just growing it hydroponically. While I'm no expert on the subject, as has been said here, I think it just increases the amount of cannabis you can grow in a given space. I do believe Hydro and Sinsemilla are about the same quality, just I think sinsemilla costs more as growers can't grow as much.

Oh, and obviously, this is just from my experience in the American Midwest, I have no idea what it's like for anyone on the east or west coast let alone another country.

People call good weed dro, and some of the stupidist dealer in this piss soaked world seem to think dro is a strain.... its just hydoponic. And i bet 80% of the time when they say dro it isnt even hydroponicly grown.

I like the word GANJA alot more than anything.

In CT, everything good is some kind of haze. I know NO ONE around here that believes purple haze is fake. I tell them it is, and they either say "Well, thats because you never have smoked it.", "Wow, you believe people on the internet." , or my other friend says "Its real, its just imported from Asia."

Its funny, they all think I'm an idiot because I don't think its real.

I've met many of man who says they have smoked the best weeds in the world, I just take it with a grain of salt.

To be honest, as of late, I have been smoking alot of dirt weed. No one around here sells grams, and its not in my funding. Food, water, tax, insurance and electric comes first, leaving me with not a whole lot left to have fun with.

G13 is an amazing strain. it was mendocino's prime last harvest season and everybody wanted to try some, it was absurd.

People here dont really use the word dro...but all the fakes either say "i got grapes,Or i got purple" or something about purple....its hella annoying.

The blacks around here (theyre in abundance) call good ass bud dro, thats beaster and higher, and other shit mids or regs. The whites use schwag, mids, seedless, beaster, dank, and then headies.
