First grow

hey whats up im going to start my first grow i got 4 Cfls at 2600 lumens a peice for a cabinet thats 3 feet tall 2 ft wide and 1.5 ft deep.. i painted the inside walls with white paint and ive read alot about what to do but im just making sure everything seems right. I was wondering if you think thtas sufficient lighting for like 2 plants and ill be putting a fan in there to.

two plants will work in that size cabinet ... I would suggest you double that lighting ... be sure you pick a shorter, indica-dominant strain, to utilize that cabinet height ... Tip: you can never have enough ventilation ... good luck ... :smokin:

I would reccomend getting 4+ lights of 6500K CFL's and as high of watts as you can find . This will promote strong growth of all the vegetation stage.

For flowering, get 3+ 2700K CFL lights with as high of wattage you can find and put one of those 6500K bulbs in there. This will promote good flowering + a stem and leaf boost

Check the bulbs you have now cause im sure they will match one of these 2 descriptions.. They sound like 40 watt bulbs?

So far everything sounds good though, do you have the box of those lights by any chance?

nope dont have the boxes but on the light bulbs it says 120v 60hz 30w 2700K i think they were eitehr 30 or 40 watt lights ill probally be picking the best plant out of 3 and just veg and flower one plant so you think 4 of those lights will be enough?

yeah, those 30 watters would be good for flowering, maybe get some more

one more question.. do you think the smell of one plant will be very strong or will simple like open windows and a air purifire take care of it?

mines startin to smell and its only 4 weeks!

to be honest i dont know the smell of dank weed or we so i cant tell u sorry but it dont smell like my strawberry plant put it that way lol

faint, u have to rite up to the leaf to smell it but it smells nice.
