Reinforcing my PARANOIA.

Alright, so I live on the 9th floor of a STUDENT HOUSING building. Yes I have 1 Resident Assitant on my floor. Ever since I have moved in I have been pretty paranoid of my weed smoking.

When I first moved in I would only smoke out of my sneak a toke out the window out of a doob tube(Paper towel roll with scented dry sheet)...and I would put a towel under the door.
Yes, I am that much of a stoner.

So the longer I have lived here the less paranoid I have gotten, since I have not gotten in trouble and heard that other people smoke in their rooms-in fact someone even deals.
I now have been smoking in my room with the towel under the door and no window open or anything...because I don't give a shit...and I have an air purifier-that might help?

Anyway, this morning I go outside my door, which just so happens to be right in front of the elevator, the only ones in the building. On the floor there is what looks to be a FLYER. Only it wasn't a flyer at all..it was a note from a RESIDENT on the 9th floor staying
"DEAR 9th FLOOR SMOKERS, THIS IS YOUR NEIGHBOR, I have a smoke allergy and would really appreciate it if you would smoke outside and not in your rooms as it quickly goes under the door and into my room. THANK YOU".

I was under the impression both of my neighbors were boys(and I still am)..and this was MOST DEFINITLY bubbly decorated colorful girl handwriting..

SO I am wondering if this was directed towards me, the innocent little pot smoker who is paranoid as fuck..

...OR DIRECTED towards people whom actually smoke cigarettes in their room?
I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK..
..but I know what I'm gonna do.

Probably, Someone warning about the smell but being cool about. Put the towel under the door, open the window, and keep some freeze around. I would say light a candle but your the only girl around the Warm Sugar Vanilla scent will give you away.

Tough situaton Tallulah. My brother and I had the same problem at college. Had someone down from us who was anal as hell and nothing better to do than cause problems. I know its not the most effiecent way to use your green but I have been rolling jays and then going for a little walk. I also go for walks with my one hitter that looks like a cigarette. I find I enjoy going for walks more than I ever have. I was even contemplating getting a dog for company on the walks! lol....but alas I am stuck in surberbia hell and gone from the college scene. I send you good luck and pleasant thoughts!

Well does anyone else on your floor smoke in their room, or possibly cigerettes in their rooms (though I belive that's against the rules)?? Find that out before you panic, and at least thank them that it wasn't a nasty letter. I might smoke outside if I could, just because I wouldn't want to be a dick to those people.

Well okay heres the thing....It is rainy and fuckin' cold here in Portland Oregon. I know people who do smoke cigarettes in their rooms, none on my floor though...but I know it's being done! There is a lot of rooms on my floor so really that note could have been directed towards anyone.

It's just that it was in front of the elevators, in front of my room, that kind scares me.

Yes smoking cigarettes in your room is against the rules, and so it smoking weed haha..smokig anything of course.
I think ill just go back to the doob tube out the window and if anything else happens I might have to resort to walks with my sneak a toke(which does look like a cigarette)...

I just really don't know who it could be, my only 2 neighbors are both dudes...?
Eh whatever I guess ill just keep smoking and be a bit more paranoid about it..
Ill just wait until I get a warning from an RA. Shit I am moving out of here in a month anyway. Fuck student housing.

Well okay heres the thing....It is rainy and fuckin' cold here in Seattle too....lol and walking out in the rain sucks ass. But in my situation being cold and rained on is a hell of a lot better than the alternative of being busted. If you only have a month to go hang in there and you will be cool. Maybe you will get lucky and in your next place you will have like minded people. The good karma train is heading your way :)
The note prob wasn't directed at you but like you I would be paranoid and think it was as well.

Well if it was clearly in front of the elevators I wouldn't personally be concerned. Only if it was like, right in front of my door or slid under the door. But lol, that's kind of shitty you're by an elevator for something like that. Just get high to ease your mind and worry not! ~

hehe my next place is with my boyfriend so I know he is most definitly a like minded person and I can smoke pot anytime and all the time and not worry about a thing.
I don't like living in a place where I have a authority figure, fuck that...
I still think the note is odd though...hahaha...
I almost feel like it was ripped down because it was on the floor-was probably hanging up don't ya think? I don't know...I'm stoned..so I'm probably just over analyzing.

Well thats the thing, it was clearly in between the 2 elevators that are right outside my door....however it was still closer to my side of the elevator area....haha...

Lol every smoker on the 9th floor is shitting themselves. Maybe it was...a joke? I doubt it, but you never know.

did you happen to check the other floors to see if similiar notes were posted in the same place but just on different floors. I know it doesn't make much of a difference but maybe it will help you relax and be a lil less paranoid?

LoL, I wouldn't worry about it . A bowl in your room could never flare his/her allergies up, maybe a few fat kind blunts with the door open . take it easy marie !

SWEET thanks, that makes me feel better. I think ill just stick with that.

I am not gonna go through the floors and check to see if their are others, I live in the "older kid floor" which is the 5th floor and up..all the floors below that are just ridiculously trashed...

This note was very hand written with markers of different colors. Quite bright...orange and red and yellow. It was definitly bubbly and girly...

So the only way it would be anyone I am bugging is 2 rooms down or the room accross the elevator hallway. I really just don't think my smoke would go that far, but I am going to be extra sure and make sure im like being more cautious I guess.
I seriously bet I am not the only person freaking out haha. This note isn't gonna do shit for this poor girl, maybe she shouldn't live in student housing.

maybe you should find out who wrote the note, then do us all a public service by getting her high. Mellow her uptight ass out...lol

I think that was most definitely a cigarette warning.

i say it was asking to stop smoking ciggarettes too because weed doesnt really bother many people. But ciggs can really bother people even people without allergies. I know a couple of people who complain sometimes when i light one up even if we're outside, alot of people just dont like cigg smoke.

I have a vaporizor at home...not here though unfortunatly.

SO I took a walk through the halls and they wreaked of cigarettes, so I think I'm good.
The RA was walking around handing out student handbooks though, because people are smoking.
