I've been dry for 2 days now, and in a haze of desperation, i cleaned my pipes and got a good amount of resin from it, it was crap. Now I'm sitting at home by myself with no cash. I know I can't get any green tonight.
And to be honest, i'm pretty damn annoyed. All I can think about is where I can scrounge up enough money to get a gram at least. I feel like a junkie, but i'm not one.
it's so frustrating. I just want to be stoned right now.
How do you feel when you can't score?
Okay so I just called my 'friend' and asked if I can get him back later. I usually dont' do the whole "i o u" thing since well i dont' feel it's right. but these are times of desperation people. I hope you guys understand that.
anyway, he said "yeah, sure thing, seeya tonight". What a champ and to think, this was the guy who used to over charge.
if i cant score i always have something to smoke in my house. Try to save some bud by just throwing it arround the house in little baggies. When im dry i just take a look under my bed or behind the closet. Or in a drawer. There is always something. Try doing that next time.

I am high too. this idea sounds good.
it's like when i throw on an old pair of jeans i haven't worn for a while and find some money in it. except with weed and it's like in my house not my jeans.
Yeah it’s bad times when I’m out. Assuming I do the typical thing and not really curb my usage at all until it’s all gone then the effects are the worse.
Cons:
-Unless I spent the entire day running or moving furniture or something I’m pretty much guaranteed to sit in my bed for 60+ minutes tossing and turning before I can go to sleep.
-At all times it feels like I have some kind of coffee buzz or something, almost like if you were sound asleep and someone ran in your room screaming “FIRE!” you’d wake up with the adrenalin pumping hardcore. Well I will feel almost “hyper” like that almost all the time.
-I get really bitchy, pissed off easily, and I lose almost all of my patience. That’s not to say that I snap at people or anything, I’m pretty good at keeping it inside but it keeps me stressed and always in a bad mood pretty much.
-My emo threshold is lowered to the point where sometimes simple stuff like a TV show can send me over the edge.
Pros:
-No appetite whatsoever. I’d have to almost force the food down my throat unless it’s really good food and it’s like dinner time and it’s my first meal of the day.
-While it’s hard to go to sleep, if I just stopped smoking its way easy to getup early. Often times I’ll go to bed at like 12:30am then wake up at 4am ready to go. This works out sometimes because then I’m almost actually kinda tired when I finally go back to sleep
-Gives some time for my lungs to clear up, and maybe just maybe my tolerance will go down also.

I roll joints every once in a while and when i'm out smoking the roaches is great.
Also try not to just smoke the resin, instead take your last few nugs and put a little ball of resin on the top of each one and it will make each nug last 5x longer and its easier on your lungs than straight up resin.
when i can't smoke, i usually go about my life as i normally would. just find something to do. play a video game, go hang out with friends, try to get your mind off it if you're stressing over it. i never fiend for weed, so i can't really say, but definitely try to find something productive to do so you won't think about it. and smoking resin is gross and bad for your lungs. its basically all the bad chemicals and tar from the weed. just take a little break, it won't kill you and will make you stronger.
PLAN AHEAD! Find a realiable dealer. Once you got those things theres no need to be dry...ever

dude if you cant take 2 days without weed then you have a problem...i've been dry here for about a month, and not through lack of trying i can tell you.
I feel mad basically..when I really really wanna smoke I'm mad when I cant but if I didn't really want to smoke anyways but wish I could a bit it doesn't really bother me that much.
I just feel normal when I'm not high. I'm not sad, or angry or whatever, I'm just, normal living you know.
Cannabis shouldn't take hold of your life like this. When you don't have any, so what. Don't sit there and dwell on how you're going to get your next smoke. Go out and do something, make something, learn something, get a job, make some money, take some pictures, chase around the neighborhood cats, okay that last one is only fun when you're high. :p
You've made smoking a habit, NOT an addiction, but you're now used to smoking everyday. I used to be there man, and it isn't fun.
I don't even smoke during the day anymore and right now, it's 2pm, and I haven't smoked yet today, and I won't until around 4 or 5pm. I find the high is much more intense waiting all day.
I used to wake up, take a piss, then smoke and be stoned ALL day. That doesn't make smoking fun and burns a hole in your wallet too, so just find something else to do when dry. Coming an a cannabis site when dry is not good either. That's like teasing a hooker with sex.

I agree 100% Nochowderforyou. Smoking just at night helps, I find my highs so much greater cause it is somthing I look forward to do with my bf. That is our time together and it makes it enjoyable. But somtimes we well treat ourselves to just having a sat being lazy and smoking all day and sun through fri only smoke 2 or 1 bowls a night. And when we go dry most of the time we go without weed for a month or just 2 weeks.
I like to smoke too much, too. I am afraid I might be addicted. When I don't have weed I want either cigarettes or alcohol.
It dosent bother me too much, I miss the social aspect more then the high. I like tokin up with my friends and if we have no weed its like were missing out on some fun. I occasionally get a craving for a certain strain of weed, but that craving is equivalent to a craving for a certain type of food, nothing more.
I made a personal choice to stop blazing for a month, it's day 3 and I don't care at all. I could've smoked 2 joints yestrday but i passed, i felt so proud :) Being dry does suck though compared to being high. Life goes on.
When i cant smoke I feel sober, thats it. I never get a craving or anything :P
The only time it's a prob with me is when my life is, for whatever reason, very stressful, and I like to be stoned to escape reality when that's the case. But...that's not really good; it's better to confront your problems and deal with them because procrastinating them just lets them grow larger and harder to deal with. I recognize that escapism in myself now, at least.
Mostly though, over the years getting stoned has just become a thing I like to do, but don't have to do and don't really dwell on. Some days I don't get stoned at all; I just plain forget about it. Mostly I get high a bit before bed and that's it. Occasionally I'll have a toke during the day and then lose myself playing music. In the last 30 days, between me and the woman, we've smoked maybe two buds. It's not from lack of pot - there's PLENTY jarred up and ready to go. I've just gotten to the point where I use the pot, it doesn't use me. It's like salt and pepper, sort of. When I'm out of those, I definitely notice their absence, but it's not a big life-shaking deal or anything when I'm out of them.
i get mad, i never said addicted. i spose mad was an overstatement.
but i look forward to next getting weed. ive gut down from 8 spliffs a day to as few as 3 a week, so i think i have persmission to crave at least a little bit!!:P
I hate being dry. I go to college and have a job, my life is very stressful. I have to drive in bumper to bumper traffic every day of the week to get to school of because its on the other side of town. When I'm dry I there is always something to do and I usually don't let it get to me, but that one thing always comes around when it would be more fun stoned. Also, I'm about to fail my chemisrty class becuse I haven't been able to balance everything out yet, lame excuse I know:( but It's the truth. Being an adult sucks sometimes, but everyone has to grow up eventually.
I hate being dry too but you get over it until you get some.

Thats why I never let myself get dry in the first place. Always have a large reserve.
Sometimes i can apreciate few dry days, but other dry days I just wish i had weed...dry days can be a bitch.
Sometimes when I'm dry it feels like I really need it, like I'm not going to make it through the day. That feeling usually passes after a few minutes though, and I can take a break for literally months.

damn some of you guys sound like you're talking about crack not weed. I usually only smoke once a month or two. And when i mean once i mean i buy an 8th or a 1/4 and keep smoking it until it's all gone, then take a month break. So basically once every 1 or 2 months i'm blasted for 3 - 7 days straight lol. I used to smoke like 5 days a week every week, but i don't do that anymore, costs $ and lets face it, makes you "dopey" :rasta:

By dopey i didn't mean slow or dumb, i don't think pot does that at all (save for smoking a 5 gram blunt out of a 4' bong for 30 minutes, i think i was legally retarded after that :stoned: ) I mean dopey like tired and burnt out alot. That happened to me when i used to smoke pretty much daily. When i was smoking every weekend i would feel like a zombie for the whole weekend. I think i'm going to go from smoking an 8th a month back to weekly for a little while :rasta: :dance:
Captin, I'm in that same situation, I've just cut back from multiple daily use, to whenever. After tonight (hosting a Great American Smokeout after work) I'll be on the only on weekends kick. I didn't know how burnt out i was until I actually stoped smoking for a few days.
when im sober i dont worry about it, it doesnt really effect me.
After the 3rd day, it's all good, but it's the first 2 days that are killer.
