So I just bought a space case (grinder with a kief screen)...how do I get the kief?

out. Like once Ive ground tons of weed and have a thick layer of kief at the bottom...whats the best way to scrape all the kief out and get it into a pollen press or even just into a joint? any suggestions? any prior experience?

You could use a spoon, use it downside up or just the tip.

Its not the best but when times are hard i use my finger or a folded bit of rizla packet lol.

Cut a straw so it is 3 inches and then snort it up.:thumbsup: :dance:

could always get a mirror, peice of glass something that is just that smooth and tap out all the keif onto the glass/mirror/w/e and then use a razor/credit card/other straight edge.... i'm sure it would be easier that way can't be a whole lot of room to work with in the grinder it'sself...

I have a 3 piece tool and use the part that you usually scoop the rez out with, and that works like a charm.

Didn't your grinder come with a triangular piece of plastic? Thats the scraper.

ok dont try these ways, ive tried them all and ive found the best, i mean BEST way to get kief out of your grinder. A paint brush. Seriously this shit will get you every fucking speck out.:thumbsup: good luck

Three piece tools rock though, I can't even imagine living without one now, only like $3 or less

a sim card or a knife :) thats what i use to get the keif out of my keif catcher ( this feels odd cause im used to call it a crystal catcher lol)

A tool with 3 peices.

I use the tip of a spoon handle, and scrape it out onto a little mirror, then i put it in a baggie untill i got 3 grams of kif or more. Then i put it though a tea strainer, and then i make my homemade hash.

Buy a press and make that uber bowl you've been dreaming of.

wow. there is a reason that grinders dont come with instructions: they are that simple to use. In my opinion questions should be more limited to effective ways to do things without having to buy things specificly produced to handle that task and not how to correctly place cannabis flowers into a bowl. As long as you pull the smoke through the piece and prevent smoke from burning off into the air(commonly done by placing the lighter horizontaly across the top of the bowl while finishing your hit) your not wasting it. I am supprised i havent seen a "how to drink through a straw" thread.

How do you drink through a straw btw?

I'd put the pice with all the kif in the freezer for about 20min, turn it upside down, and tap the bottom with something to get it all off the bottom/sides.

Or just use a flathead screwdriver or a razor blade to get it all off. That's what I do and it works great.
