I dont really know how popular it is but a while back i watched a movie called trainspotting, and it BLEW MY FREAKING MIND. its basically about a motley crew of scottish heroine junkies, and i loved it. I dont even use heroine but man youve got to check this movie out.

i also need to see this, have seen too many short clips of it. quite expensive on amazon compared to other films of the same theme though.
this and requiem for a dream are my favorites.

I've seen it a few times, and i've seen a documentry about it. The guy who wrote it [i think] actually started taking weed to begin with and progressed onto cocaine and then onto heroin, and he talked about the movie. I wouldnt say its the best film ever, but damn, its very good.
I'd definatly reccomend it.
Yes i agree with the majority. The move "Trainspotting" is a class movie as an all rounder aswell as a highly rated movie by all critics and film watchers alike.

also i'd recommend the sequel to trainspotting. its a book called Porno by irvine welsh. its about how the drug addled trainspotting gang gets together ten years later to make a porn flick.
I stopped watching at the toliet part, fucking nasty.

It is a good movie, but not one of the greatest in my opinions. I love the part when Spud shits in the sheets and goes for breakfast. They insist on washing the sheets for him and while tugging on them, the sheet flies open and the entire room, plus the people, are covered in nasty shit! Oh man, I laughed and cringed at the same time when I saw that.
Def. a good movie. :thumbsup: I still have it on VHS but not on DVD. Can you buy this movie on DVD? If so, I should go buy it.

Trainspotting was real popular. The most famous seen is when the dude is trying to sober up and he starts to go through withdrawl and the baby is crawling on the ceiling. Oh and the aforementioned "toilet scene" I never did understand that part.
Lets get Ewan Mcgregor, Johnny Depp, Chapelle, and Robin Williams in a drug movie together. Robin can be a coke fiend, Johnny a psych freak, Ewan a heroine junkie, and Chappelle can represent us stoners.
I can think of so many possibilities.

haha...i couldnt understand what the fuck that scottish guy was saying the whole movie. i had to use subtitles.
the movie was average at best. if you want to see a REALLY fucked up movie watch Visitor Q directed by Takashi Miike from Japan.
