Ok so I just got my tongue pierced today, and the piercer said if I am a smoker, and I must smoke, to makes sure I clean my mouth out before and after. I am about 90% sure he was talking, strictly about tobacco. Now, my question is, can I still smoke herb, or is it gonna irritate things and slow the healing process?:confused:
my brother had his tounge peirced and was smoking weed pretty much everyday for atleast a week, he didn't have any problems with it.

just make sure to keep your mouth clean at all times, especially after smoking, eating or drinking.

if you would have came to ME to do your piercings, i would have dont it for less than anyone else, kind of like Best Buy
and i would have told you not to clean it, EVER...therefor, being easier to maintain
you should have came to me, its cheaper and easier
Just use an antibacterial mouthwash afterwards. It's what I did, didnt cause me any problems!

Hey, my buddy is a piercer as well and he tells his customers to use warm salt water after they smoke (ciggs). Mouthwash would work as well, but I can see the alcohol in the wash burning that healing area to shit. Who knows though, I don't have any holes in my body, so what do I know. :p

lol i peirced my lip once, i kept biting the part of the stud in my mouth everytime i'd try to chew anything.... >.< it was horrible to keep nearly ripping it out
Ya... so about eating, about the only thing I CAN eat... er... drink, is slimfast, applesauce, and soup. At least for a week or two.
And I picked up some solution called "H2Ocean". It's purified ocean salt water with lysozyme. It's like salt water and mouthwash without alcohol, good cleaning stuff.

dont use too much mouth wash or you will get thrush
I had my tongue done wrapped up a joint and went to the market for a fat bag of chips n a sausage.........No salt n vinigar though...aint that brave...
every body will have there own story or opinion but end of day everyones different.Do what you feel is best and just dont play with it coz of germs..think thats it....Oh yeah dont lick poo
