Hey, I have a plant that is just over a foot tall and im planning on flowering it pretty soon (about 2 weeks). There are a few things I want to do to it first though- clone, and bend it over (supercrop it). I'm sure that if I did all of these around the same time it would stress out my plant, so what should the order of events be? And if I need to give it some time to recover before flowering, how long should I wait?
Thanks!

Also, as my plant isnt very big (altho its very bushy) how many clones should I take off of it at once?

anyone? i know those are a lot of questions but I could really use some help.

maybe refine this two a few descreet questions.
how long does it take the plant to de-stress itself after taking clones, transplanting or LSTing?
Should one do the lowest stressing actions first and progress towards more stressful?
How many clones could one take off one plant (12 inch tall) at one time?
I am also interested in the answers
thanks

if this is an unflowered plant...take 6 clones if reasonably possible within the structure of the plant and flower one of them to see if the mother and the other clones are female or male

then if they're female...then when appropriate...flower the other 5 clones and take five more

then you should be set.....when those five clones are done...do it all over again

ok, thanks. i already know my plant is a female (it started out as a clone from a female plant) so now i know how many clones to take.

Here is an idea, the more clones you take, the more your harvest may be impacted depending on how much recovery time you give to possibly produce more flowering nodes.
I would think about taking 2 or 3 clones and growing them out, topping them at 3 weeks approx and by the time they are about 6 weeks old you could take multable clones from them to throw in the next tgrow and the new clones will be almost ready to go into flower after this grow your working on now. They would basicly be a couple of mother plants.
Also, a shot of Super Thrive will help your plant recover from stress quicker. Also, what kind of super cropping are you going to do? there are actualy two methuds, both found in High Times. Either way, the plant will take a good week to recover IMO, even 10 too 14 days would be good.
Well, hope this helps some.

thanks- thats pretty much exactly the answer i was looking for. what im doing to the plants is tying some offshoots down on one side of the plant and i will eventually bend it over (i will probably top it at some point). by bending it over there will be more surface area available to the lights- i hear good results from this method.

Yes, some good production can be achieved with the tech.
Good growing.

ok, another question related to all of this. when i take the clones from my mother plants should i do it right before their dark cycle? im thinking this might give them a chance to recover.

I haven't found it to make a real difference.
