I'm new to the growing scene and I was wondering what the strongest strain of cannabis is that you can start with. I've looked at AK-47, White Widow and White Russian, are there strains stronger then this? The White Russian has a 22% THC content and that's the most I've seen from any plant so far.

there's more to cannabis than just the THC ... in fact, for those needing pain relief or sedative-effect, you would look for a plant with more CBD ... also, different people get different results ... the strains you have listed so far, are among the highest THC varieties, yes .... :smokin:
What are some strains with high CBD content?
I'm a 'highTHC sativa' kinda smoker, but from what I've gathered, your Kush strains, Afghans, primarily indicas, etc are generally higher in CBDs, as I understand it ... but, you can flower your plants 'too long', and they will develop more CBDs, as the THC degrades, that's whats happening when your trichomes turn amber ... your "White Rhino" is a seriously killer strain, will glue you to the couch, famous for pain-killing qualities ... hope that helps ... :smokin:

Really high CBD strains are White Rhino n Great white shark.... Strongest
PS check out greenhouse seeds they show the THC%
there are books and magazines with professional bud pics ... I have a High Times Book of Buds, or something, that a friend gave me ... nice photos, I can tell indicas from sativas, etc... but, thats about it ... they all look alike to me, YUMMY :D ... also, a lot of the professional photographers shoot with colored flashes, etc, and add PhotoShop tricks, so a lot of photos have ridiculously brightly-colored plants ... while pretty, they look pretty artificial to me ... :smokin:Quote:

on Dutch Passion's website, they list THC content of most of their strains, and they display Blueberry and Mazar as having higher THC levels than their own White Widow ... ??? ... again, so what ? ... there's more to marijuana than THC content ... many of the most popular strains out there are much lower in THC than WW, and several others ... just enjoy what you enjoy ... :D :smokin:
I've smoked white rhino(nirvana) and it was good and very strong. But if you mean what has the best cerebral chatty high, then I'd say Super Silver haze or some other strong hybrid. I don't grow indoors, so I don't know from experience but my friend gave me super silver haze and it was very strong. That shit made me talkative and then had me crawling. From what my growing friend told me sativa dom strains tend to be very strong, but more problematic to grow.
To be perfectly honest with you, there is no defacto "strongest strain" of weed. From the weed I buy, I could tell that I payed a lot of money from some overhyped stuff that tasted earthy and grassy and wasn't cured properly. All these strains are bred for potency and if you grow them right and select a nice phenotype you too could have a power plant.

I dont think you could actually answer that question. One strain that some one believes is the strongest they've ever had another guy might disagree with that. Dunno what the strongest strain is but I know I'd sure love to try Blueberry again :D.

I'd have to say [Bubblegum X Skunk] has a fairly strong head and body high.
I love smoking that Sour Diesel. Don't know if it's the strongest ever, but it sure tastes good!! :p
