New dealer, new buds, new clone...

hi,

Just thought I'd snap a few pics. of some new buds I just picked up, along with a clone from my new guy.

The buds are Afghan x Jack Herer, so is the plant. I just got 7g's at first just to make sure he is legit. He told me, "one of my sellers back in Alberta said you buy nothing under an ounce, what the hell is this small crap?!" He was joking, so he spun up a doob. and we puffed it. :p

1 hit of this and my lungs were exploding. It felt like some potent hash or something. I paid $50 for the 7g's and I couldn't be happier.

He hooked me up with a many, many clones he had and told me to go nuts, so I will. The plant is Afghan x Jack Herer, the same stuff we smoked.

It's extremely sticky, and gives a new meaning to icky. :D

When I first opened the bag up I thought it looked major underweight, but I weighed it up, and the scale doesn't lie. One bud is the size of a lighter and it wieghed 3.6g's. A lot of people would scream, "you got ripped off!" :p

It's mega dense and sciccors do not work that well. I have to use an electric buster to bust her up and eve then it sticks to the blades hardcore. :p

I was actually wondering if the Afghan was a more Sativa than Indica. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :thumbsup:

As for the price, it's bought directly from the grower. There are no market fees, import fees, travel fees. You get some dealers where lets say a lb gets passed through several different hands. Each person it goes through, the price goes up slightly, so by the time it gets to the 10th person for example, that lb would cost double than what it originally came from. I go straight to the source, so no passing of hands or increase of price.

I haven't tried Jack Herer before but I have heard nothing but good things.

my bad actually... afghani is more indica than sativa, but it's a good strain. Jack herer is a STRONG sativa... hmm so i'm guessing jack x afghani = 50/50 indica/sativa

^ I was going to say, i thought Afgan was more indica than sativa. Afgan is mainly indica crossing with an almost if not pure sativa. Giving a good cross, hopefully displaying both sides of the cross.

Well that plant has been growing mega fast in the last few days. I haven't seen a plant grow this fast yet.

I topped her last night at only the 4th internode up. She is short and stalky and I want to keep it that way.

I'll make a post in the Indoor Growing sections in the following weeks when she slipts off into 2 more tops.

This time I plan on toppin the tops, to get 4-6 main tops instead of the classic 2.
