ok i posted this in thier but people dont ever get any feed back in there........
ok im lookin at gettin a new job and am faced with possible drug screens, and i was wonderin what my chances are at passing by dillution or how long it will taker me to get clean.......im 5'9 190 lbs work out religiously 4 times a week since i was in 10th grade and run 2.5-3 miles at least 3 times a week.. any body have any insight for me?
oh and i only smoke on the weekends, not a daily smoker
I'm not to sure how it all works. But I did hear one person say that if you mix salt and creatine and yellow food coloring in water and that drug tests cant tell the difference between that and real pis.

Healthy bodies clear themselves out pretty quickly, I have gotten clean results for probation like 3 days after smoking before, all though I wouldn't do the same as me. For the most part jobs that make you do urine tests will want you to do it basically that day or the next, so just plan not to smoke for a while before you have schedule a interview
I have a theory that if you can piss within a certain amount of time, you can pass. What I mean is, if you piss, then piss again 20min, the second sample would be clean because there wouldn't be enough metabolytes to detect it. Thats what dilution is basically, you piss more often so the metabolytes don't build up and there isn't enough to be detected. Although I don't know if a single piss would get them all out at once, or if you'd have to flush your system regularly to get it out.
Depending on the job you're going for, DON'T DRINK TONS OF WATER RIGHT BEFORE. Before last week I would have told you to, but my friend went for a job drug screening, and the next day they called and said he drank too much water before. The only reason he got to take it again is because his cousin is getting him the job and talked to the head of the company and said he was working out right before. If this wasn't the case, it would have been a failed drug test! These labs are not stupid, they know when and why someone drinks a gallon of water 10 minutes before taking the test.
MacWQ33 Please post educated and correct things. Don't confuse people. Drinking lots of water right before works great. Dilution is NOT a legally failed drug test. They are required by law to give you another chance as you have not technically failed their test they can't legally dismiss you.
Also, creatine a few days before and vitamin B right before are easy ways to avoid it being flag as diluted.
You can be faled over a too clear, or watered down test. Happens every day in corectional instatutions, PO offices and half way house, jobe employers may not call you to say you didn't pass, they can just not call because they get the drift. Isn't always the case, but just be smart.

That is very educated and very correct. It happened to my friend last week buddy! They are not required by law to give you another chance, my friend only got another chance because his cousin works for the company...read the post. Its just common sense, obviously a LAB knows if you drank water right before, and why did you drink water right before?....to dillute you piss to filter out drugs. Thats the same as failing. Obviously like I said (if you read) its gonna depend on the job. Some jobs use the simple little on the spot test, and some send to labs.Quote:

Not exactly. Dilution will occur naturally in people if they actually have drank a bunch of water. What if they have a shy bladder and must drink a few glasses to go? Regardless as to why they diluted their sample a diluted sample does NOT mean a failed test. It is a do over. The lab has no results either way and thus cannot say pass or fail so they will let you do it over. If it happens again, yes, they will get suspicous. Trust me. And even though this is the case using some creatine a few days earlier and some vitamin B the hour before will fool their tests for dilution even. You will have diluted your sample, but with these extra steps they won't know. Dilution is the way to go. You know all those papers you sign before you take a drug test. Read them sometime. I assure you, a diluted sample is not means for termination (when applying for a job). If you're on parol dilution will throw a red flag, but they too give second chances. The worst that can happen is you have a few more days to get clean. A diluted drug test is NOT a failed test as they have failed to find any traces of anything, much less enouph of something to incriminate you. You know you do drugs. They don't. Thats your advantage.

False! Under both, the US Dept of Transportation and the Dept of Health & Human Services regulations, a dilute does not constitute a failure and a retest must be given. Water is not the only fluid that can cause a diluted result. Coffee and all other fluids can affect the outcome of a test.Quote:

Wrong. Labs are not detectives. Fluid intake is normal prior to a drug test. Its especially common in blue-collar fields where workers stay hydrated. In fact, its an OSHA requirement for workers to keep hydrated during the course of duty. For this reason, and many others, an existing employee who had been discharged for a diluted result can be entitled to civil remedy.Quote:

When I was in the hole for a week because of this same thing with about 50 other guys for watered down UA's I must of been put over on, but now since I have been inlightend, I wonder if I can go back and file a suit against the instatution?

Synthetic Piss is the only way to go ..... 100% fool proof ... I use minute man .... but there are others on the market too .... for me minute man is the best .... indefinite shelf life .... no have to worry about heating .... why take a chance on something that doesn't work if a job is on the line?
with regards to your PO dilute = fail claim,
convicted felons on parole do NOT have the same rights as all other citizens/individuals.
Labs might try to be like cops, in that they act unprofessional to try to catch the ignorant person slipping and basically get them to fuck themselves.

diluted results can not, under normal circumstances, be counted as "positive for controlled substances"
Water does NOT = narcotic metabolites
them assuming that you drank lots of water to dilute narcotic metabolites is against the law. (see exception for parolees and special circumstances (military, law enforcement, etc.).
If they counted a dilute as a positive, you can sue them because they say you tested positive when no traces of narcotics were found. Absence of evidence does not = a conviction
It is nothing more than an ASSUMPTION, so if they do that, you can call them ASSHOLES, and you might be better off suing their asses for that, because you wont have to piss to win the settlement.
