Not trying to be a prick....

I know I haven't been here for too long, and I'm probably going to piss some people off with this, but I feel it has to be said.


I've noticed, that although this is a cannabis message board, most of the threads have nothing to do with weed, I'm not talking about the lounge, that's what it's for, but every other topic seems to be about raiding the medicine cabinet, you ain't gonna find any weed in there, unless, like me, you keep a joint stashed in there for emergencies. I'm really not trying to pass judgement here, I just see a lot of dangerous behavior here. MORE PEOPLE DIE FROM OVERDOSE OF PRESCRIPTION/OTC MEDICATIONS EVERY YEAR THAN ALL ILLEGAL DRUGS COMBINED. That's right, statistically, it's safer to go to the ghetto, and score some crack, than to hit up the medicine cabinet.

I know I won't change anybody's mind, it's your choice to put that poison into your body, I just felt I had to say it.

good point for all the youngins' out their. prescription drugs are very dangerous, and they change the chemical levels in your brain, which could permanatly damage your thinking prosesses!!!

yep. you do have a point. and pills are bad. they fuck you up bad...not just at that moment either, later on in the long run too!

I feel the same way, there is good info in certain places here, and some killer pics. But sometimes its kinda a buzzkill reading these threads. Doctor G's threads on the other hand are a good example of what this board should be used for.

People are gonna try things for themselves. I tried pills, and i love them. But they made me depressed so i stopped taking them. But i still think they are alright every once in awhile

i agree, but many here are knowledgable about other things, so those who wish to experiment with other things find it a good place to ask others that have experience..

not that im agreeing with the pills and all they do fuck you up. but this is a weed place. so i guess i agree with you, although im one of the people that talk about other drugs on occasion lol

i been sayin it fer a while. this whole pill thing but tha people who do this shit jus brush it off like it was nothing. im not as worried bout thz kids takin perscription pillz but tha OTC that they are intentionaly overdosing on thinking they are getting high. sorry but las time i cheked "high" was a state of euphoria, not to be confused with being lathargic, having poor muscle coordination, and trouble thinking.


of course these boards are fer people who smoke weed and enjoy the lifestyle to get together and kick it, discuss everything, an basicaly jus chat wit a bunch of other people who wont kick us down fer being potheads. so u can say, this is dangerous an all that but usualy someone who likes something enough to put themselves in danger arent gonna quit cause someone asked them to. and if u tell someone they iz stupid or somethin cause they iz doin different drugs other than weed its hypocritical. everyone knows people look down on them fer smoking weed, whether its ur boss, co-workers, family, teachers, or jus friends, u know u hate it and u jus think they have a clouded outlook on something you see so clearly. people who do other drugs look at it like this also jus wit other drugs. so every time u tell someone they are ruining their future or somethin like that i bet anything 4 words will pop into their head every time, "he dont know shit" so theres basicaly no point to let someone know how bad what their doin is cause they rarely listen.

:D As a daily user of pharmacy perscribe drugs I can honestly say that i would never use them for any other reason than those for which they were perscribed for. I suffer from acute progessive Multiple Sclerosis, so I have a large range of pills and I.V drugs in the house. I know how these drugs affect me and I can not understand why some people out there would want to put there bodies though the hell that these drugs do. I have to inject myself up to 3 times a day and this is another thing I can not understand people wanting to do to get high, it is in no way a fun thing.
So in short people I would be more than happy to never have to take another pill in my life, but unfortunately I have no choice in the matter. Some of the young ppl in this site do need to know that its not a cool thing and no one thinks them to be growen just cos they pop pills. ;)

aanyway the lounge is for freindly chat about nothing inparticular :)

and anyhoo pot is a gateway drug (says and then runs away mwa haha) :D
