Umm.. here is my cheap vent job, its at the bottom of my grow space, behind a shelf so that you cant see the light coming from around it and to keep light out but I dont know if its donig to good a job of that, the room is going to be completely dark when flowering, the way my lights are going to be set up.. simply a small computer fan I jacked out of an old one... hope its enough, cause its all I can afford right now..??
Its small but it can move the air...
another fan at the top moves air around and in once the door is open... Im getting another computer fan soon and its going to be pulling air in..
This will work right?
oh and dont mind the nasty looking floor or walls, I got some mylar on the way thats going to be covering all that shit
Thanks..

You might want to get a hold of some black mesh to cover that fan, it'll let the air flow throuh, but will stop a good amount of light from leaking in or out. You can get rolls of various lengths from any hardware store cheap.

Im just curious, what are the odds I get at least one female from three plants that I dont know what the strain is?
-

odds are that at least one will be a girl if you're using non-feminized seeds.

Odds are usually 50/50 for male/female from seeds from what I know (unless something is done to change it).
Good idea on the mylar, I was gonna suggest that before I saw your comment.
Be careful about the fan (since you said it was from an old comp) - I used to be a PC technician and I've seen lots of old fans overheat and die or get clogged from too much dust and crap. Keep an eye on it - don't wanna see you have any unecessary problems. You shouldn't need another fan for intake, just an opening to let fresh air in. The exhaust fan will lower the pressure in the growroom and new air will rush in by itself from wherever it can to replace the old.
What kinda light you using??

Well, its been Two weeks and two days since I stuck my seeds under the dirt. The light was about 12 inches from the top of the soil, once the plants came up, I pulled it up about another 4 inches, because of the small location Im growing in, and this is a picture of my tallest plant from yesterday..
Three plants all in all, the other two are about 2" and only 1", I think there suffering a little bit.(The tips were starting to yellow, kinda metalic color but has decreased a casual bit, Im thinking maybe Magnessium Def.? Considering the plants drain well, organic soil works great.) Also, the root tip was longer on this one once it was planted, so naturally the plant is bigger.. lol

Just lemme know what every/anyone thinks.. Thanks.

Looks good man. How's the heat problem? That might account for a little yellowing. If you were going to crop them, now would be the time. Good luck.

Hey I just cropped my plants, the third one is a little to small, but the others are just the right size I guess. I simply pinched between the leaf branch and stem and it popped right off, didnt know it was going to be so easy.. lol
Makin sure i did it right?

Sounds like you did it right, you should see new growth in a couple days, it's pretty fun cropping, especially if you do it repeatedly early on, that way you get all the stressing out of the way before your plant gets too old, giving it most of the veg to recoup. I'd wait until each of the new stalks has two sets of leaves, and then do both of those. Keep up the good work.
