get a fan?
I wish it was 84 in my room, it's about 53 in our house (or lower) :(.
thats hot. heres a chilling story.
Once upon a time in 1820, British scientist and inventor Michael Faraday discovered that compressing and liquefying ammonia could chill air when the liquefied ammonia was allowed to evaporate.
In 1842, Florida physician Dr. John Gorrie used compressor technology to create ice, which he used to cool air for his patients in his hospital in Apalachicola, Florida. He hoped eventually to use his ice-making machine to regulate the temperature of buildings. He even envisioned centralized air conditioning that could cool entire cities.Though his prototype leaked and performed irregularly, Gorrie was granted a patent in 1851 for his ice-making machine. His hopes for its success vanished soon afterwards when his chief financial backer died. Gorrie did not get the money he needed to develop the machine. According to his biographer Vivian M. Sherlock, he blamed the "Ice King," Frederic Tudor, for his failure, suspecting that Tudor has launched a smear campaign against his invention. Dr Gorrie died impoverished in 1855 and the idea of air conditioning faded away for 50 years. The end.
Open a window or even go outside..

I am on the 9th floor so all the heat rises, and into my room...and my side of the building is also facing the sun...so my room gets to bake ALLLLL day long, I have to leave the blinds shut.
I would love to get a fan if transporting it wasn't so hard, and if I even knew where to get a fan. Last time I went to Wal Mart they were ALL OUT OF FANS.....and at this point in time I happen to be living 300 miles away from what I am used to, so I have no idea where to even go..what public transportation to take..how im gonna carry it...yadda yadda yadda...im screwed....it needs to coo l down and quick..as I sit here in my bra and underwear at 10:16 in the morning...
i have a a/c unit that cools my small house and helps me control the humidity levels for my grow :D
buy a window ac unit. It will be worth the hassle to get it. It will make everything feel so much better.
We are not allowed to have window AC units....and I have like an 8 foot window...so it would be nearly impossible to do it anyway....plus I have like 1$ in my bank account..
I spent it all on beer and weed, dammnit. I'm just going to hang out and bake while getting baked I guess...I am SOL.
In a week and a half my boyfriend says hes going to bring me a fan, however by then it will probably have cooled down...but it will be good to just get some airflow up here in this stuffy room.
In the meantime I guess it's as little clothes as possible up here...good thing I have no friends....
I hear a lot of peeps got the bug early this year... Hope you get well soon,i feel my fever breaking now... if your not smokin herb, force it,,, it will make you feel better...Quote:

No bathtub either.....it sucks but it cools off at night. It's just during the day that sucks..but whatever...I have to go to class soon anyway ..dammnit.
