My new pipe just broke :(... I finally got a bag for the first time in over a week, and I smoked about 3 bowls throughout the day. Then tonight I start smoking, and I go sit at my computer. Well I sat my pipe down on my leg, grabbed my drink, and somehow it slid off my lap, tapped the carpet, and shattered! :(..

I'm not trying to add fuel to the fire SPQR, but if I were you, I'd be a little ticked off at whoever made/sold you the pipe. It sounds like poor craftsmanship was the cause for it shattering. ~
ive dropped my pipe in class before, it dropped outta my pocket (fuckin vertical pockets that drop all my shit when i sit down) and slid across the floor making all sorts of glass on tile sounds. i literally dove outta my chair and snagged it before my teacher looked over at me. this girl sititng behind me saw the whole thing and just started laughing at me.
i almost pissed my pants

one time i was up high in a tree with my friend and our other friend was trying to toss us my friends bowl, so we could smoke up there. it was only in a thin cloth bag.. no protection really. we were probly 25 feet up and she tossed it to us (and us missing it) probly 30 times before we gave up and came down

Ah sucks man. I've never broken a pipe, had all of them taken away. :( so RIP for my pipes too. :-p
damn dude, i feel your pain. but your pipe still shouldint have broken from falling on your carpet. i mean i drop mine all the time on the carpet and nothing has ever happend.

i hate to rain on the parade but that looks like a 10 dollar piece. just your average spoon with nothing to offer but glass none the less. i would take this 35 bucks and spend on a nice inside out glass pipe, that shit wont break on you. i have no idea how the carpet would break that piece, i mean its looks real thin but not THAT thin. if you bought it at a store bring the pieces back in a bag and complain about a poor deal on a poor pipe.

Man, SPQR, I feel ya man. I've broken my pipe before, but I was cleaning resin out of it. So it was doubly bad. Not only did I feel like a crackhead, trying to clean my pipe like I was going to die in a minute or two, but I broke it while doing it. =(
But, the weird thing is, my friend had that EXACT same pipe and his broke too. It was raining out really bad and he had just got to my house and was running in with a bowl packed, and he DROPPED IT! On the cement. Into 3 big pieces and hundreds of tiny others. And the weed got soaked.
So, yeah, it sucks, man! Sorry your piece broke on you! Guess it's time you make a homemade piece until you get some money to buy a new one, eh, friend?
Never nice to lose a piece. I've broken a bong i loved before. My friends tend to break my stuff more then me tho =_=
