Trying to get weed sucks.

So you're a white kid, living in a wealthy suburban area, wanting to get some weed for the weekend coming up.

In my case, this is IMPOSSIBLE. I live in Toronto, and despite the fact that weed is everywhere, nobody will sell to me because I look like bait. Nobody will give me connections because 2 grams lasts me a week, and connections want people who buy more than 2g at a time. If I want to buy weed, no matter how much money I have or how desperate I am, I can't get any within a week.

Anyone have any advice?

buy an eigth and keep it in a mason jar and smoke it over the weekends so that you won't have this problem as frequently.

Talk to people at school, and know what your talking about...

your in canada, an Oz. there is like $180-200... try not to budge from that price. If you want a gram, it's probablly $10-15/gram for good shit

same for me. i live in a small town in connecticut and the smallest anyone sells is an eighth. most people never carry it on them so i dont get it till the next day

Yea, get a mason jar, glass jar, or any airtight container (such as a tupperware container) and buy 8ths or quarters at a time and just keep it.

about that 2 grams... man its realy hard for a dealer to hook u up only a gram or 2. Ive been dealing bud some years back and i know it sucks. Sometimes u r not willing to take the risk for a gram of bud. Why dont u save some money and buy a half to keep it for some weeks? For safekeepin ya know.

yo, my dealer sells real dank shit that is mad expensive, so .8g cost 20 dollars, so then they tend to deal small and not big, it really just depends on your dealer, like my dealer wont let me get more than a 1/8th at a time cuz he has so many customers

Well moe, I can tell ya it's all about who you know in Toronto.. not what you look like. You gotta hang out at the right place.. be open and friendly with people.. and you'll get a long just fine.. There's a few smoke friendly cafes in this city that i'm sure you know about.. and if you have to mission on the TTC for a few stops than so be it..

It could also depend on your age...If you haven't already noticed.. they start pretty young in Toronto.

No matter how good your bud is thats a rip off, AND, if a dealer wont sell more than an 1/8 at a time he's not a very good dealer...

Grow your own weed, or, just buy in bigger amounts. A lot dealers don't want to take the risk selling $20's and $40's here and there. I know some people who don't bother with anything under a 1/4. To some, there is just not enough money selling smaller amounts, that's all.

Plus, you're in T.O. It's a big city with a huge cannabis market. I can see where buying smaller amounts would be a problem, but just try to save up some cash, or earn some cash here and there doing little things, and try to buy at least 1/8's from your people, then maybe they won't be so hesitant to bother.

ya if you gonna smoke man buy an 8th or a quarter and then just chill on it for a little bit. when you are almost out hit up your boy and rebuy so your supply stays good. no worries youll find weed.

get over it. Save up and get a Q or chip in with some mates for an 1/8 every week Thats how I do it, 4 of you, a fiver each one good night.

Moe you should have made friends at the global mj march in may at queens park, i saw 100s of dealers there, many i knew already. Stand outside the hotbox and ask everyone. You arent going to get it sitting behind pc. Come winter it will be even harder you know.
So tonite go down to the club district and walk around smelling for weed. Or tommorow walk or bike thru alll the parks downtown. Cut down alleyways. Go places you think people would go to puff joints. I always see people smoking all over the place.

I forgot the compassion club CALM cannabis as living medicine is easy to get into all you need is a doctors reccomendation in you are in, look for them online i cant be bothered to look up adress right now

I would simpy go up to a rumored or obvious stoner at your school and ask to talk to him in private. Tell him you were wondering if he could "hook" a sack an 8th since it seems that dealers don't fancy small buyers in your area. If he tells you it will cost more then 50 bucks then try somewhere else. Also, in case your new, an 8th is 3.5 grams. GOOD LUCK!:dance:

Thanks, i asked a guy for an eighth and he's like "what? you want 8 grams?"

I finally asked a guy whose always stoned in class and he said "shit man you look like a nerd". I scored super big tho, he called it 'dro', it was thick, and it was $10 for 1.5g. Now thats what i call a dime.

Plus I got offered acid, and when its hard for me to find weed, acid is a fucking huge score.

Ya man I have been happilly a daily smoker for about a year now. Theres nothing like picking up a z or even a qp for april 20th and just holding it and saying "delicious". But if thats too much then just go ahead a get a quarter. just today i picked up 6gs even for 40 which for upstate new york is mad cheap.But stay strong and try and stay off the ground.

i live near toronto too man. despite the abundance of weed, it can be a real right fucking pain in the ass to find someone reliable and consistant. Dealers are fucking useless. Anyway.. point is.. i have created home based "alternate" arangements which have removed dealers from the equation that is my life. :):)

ok so im an older dude, no connections with school agers, live in a small town with no magic part of town, and my bro who used to keep us hooked up moved. most of my friends don't smoke and those that do are cool with being dry til some magically shows up. i used to work for nazis that did ua's, so i only smoked every now and then, you know special occasions, and could find the stuff all the time. I quit the nazi job and started my own business wher i wont be doing ua's on myself, and now have been dry for way too long. this week i stopped by a couple bars and asked around, but felt like i was taking too many chances. i'm just a regular white guy, making his own living who would like to chill out every now and then, and am having a hard time scoring any bud, i dont even mind schwag at this point, am ready to pony up for an ounce so this won't happen for a while. any advice?

buy some seeds and grow. it's really your best bet!

I have a hard time getting some myself too. I have a couple connects, but they're not always dependable...and they charge me too much, at least too much for my liking ($400/oz) of kind. I used to buy QPs of mids for the same price but now I'm hooked on that sweet sweet sinsemilla so its hard to go back.

I just recently paid $330 for an oz...well, 2.5 grams under an oz...grrr...

Good price...then I get home and open it up...smells weird...VERY WET.

2 days later, I have it wide open in a paper envelope drying...its working, but taking too long. I'm running out of emergency stash in the meanwhile.

I'm probably gonna get less than I thought due to the fact that I have to dry it myself. I hope that smell goes away. It looks good. Lots of hairs...maybe wasnt flushed 2 weeks prior to harvest...? I dunno.

My suggestions:

Buy a large amount...like an ounce or a couple ounces and just store it for when you need it. That much will last you a LONG time if you don't smoke that much. And it reduces the number of times you have to contact a dealer...reduce the risk.

I would think that dealers want to sell small amounts, as opposed to larger amounts, because people always expect a discount on bulk items, so the smaller the bag, the more they can charge. Granted, they have to put up the risk of making more transactions, but that's the price they pay. Therefore, buy big, make it last.

Or just grow yourself a plant or two! Cut out the black market element completely. YEA. :D

yea im in the process of planning a grow room, and how to keep it from the wife, she knows i smoke, but i dont think i can sell her on the grow room. meanwhile i really need some weed since it will be a couple months for the reults. guess ill keep asking around, thanks for the suggestions.

we call em here in florida: half 8ter or half track for 1.7 grams, 8ter 3.5 grams, quarter 7 grams

ive never bought more than an eighth at once. dealers around here wont sellu more than that. i was once offered an ounce of some schwag for $85 but thats too much money i could be spending on blockbuster rentals

yeah that's my hell... i've had plenty of money tos pend on weed over the last year, BUT i don't know anyone to get it from.

I seldom bought anything smaller than a 1/4 when I used to buy the local crap.Now I order 60gms at a time but then again,I ain't getting it locally.My guy will sell me any quantity below 500gms.Would probably do more,but I haven't needed more than 100gms at one time.

I read about something that went on in the UK somewhere about a guy who started up a business of using the Royal Mail...but I won't be more direct, bc it says in the rules here that I can't talk about it. All I can say though, is I have played that scenraio over and over in my head, trying to figure out ways that it could work....lol

If your having a problem with finding weed then grow your own :D, lucky for me I'm not in that situation lol.

I'll be in Toronto on the 7th...not sure if I'll be carrying or looking yet, but hopefully carrying. Sucks dude, I was like that for sometime, plus I'm former military, so that freaked out a few dudes.

Now I'm legal, and ppl love to sell me herb, in any amounts.

Not to mention I'm growing now, so hopeful I'll be cutting out the middleman and go straight from production to consumption :p .

Ya, I don't have any good connects either so I just stopped the whole dealing game altogether. Been dry about a month and a half now, gonna grow soon.

Since growing weed is too big of an investment, plus its too smelly, i came up with another idea. To curb my desire to get high on weekends, i've taken into growing shrooms. Its been a couple weeks, and i have two jars fully colonized and ready to fruit. I'm excited, since i've never done shrooms before, but hopefully it will be more energetic than weed!
