Dear All experts,
Pls identify the plants for me the 1st and 2nd pics are the same (plant 1) and 3rd & 4th pics are the same (plant 2).
The plant 1 have a lot of hairs and the stem are turning red colors, why is it so?
The plant 2 have a few balls already although just about a month old only.
Sorry for the blurred pic cos i got a loust camera.

Usually red sems are a sign of a nutrient deficiency which will be accomponaied by stunted growth and woody scrawny stems..
There is no way to 100% be sure of what the problem is until you can confirm that you have been watering with water that has a PH of 6.5 - 7.0.
From the pictures, It does look like your plant is Nitrogen deficient,

sorry to disagree here, but with that good green coloring, I would say your nitrogen levels are about right ... and, my NYC diesel hybrids I just harvested had the brightest red coloring I've ever seen, the entire top 2/3 of the stems were bright red on one, and very little redness on the same plant right next to it :confused: ... they both were extremely healthy, too , so I doubt if it affects the plant much ... I have been told temperature fluctuations cause the red stems, but identical plants in my same grow, have had varying degrees of redness, with identical nutes, temps, humidity, etc.. .:confused: .. it's my un-educated conclusion that the red stems may be just genetic, as health and potency has never seem to vary for my plants, while the redness did ... dunno ... :smokin:
Red stems I found are nothing to be alarmed about.
The pics are too blurry and I can't tell.
There is a macro setting on your camera, the little flower like icon. Put that setting on when you take a closeup. All digi cams have a close up setting, usually, unless it's ancient. ;) Notice how the background and floor are in focus and the plant isn't? Because it's the wrong setting.
Red Stems on the fan leaves are very different than red on the stalk..
Those plants do not look healthy and strong to me..

Garden is right in a way, my 1st plant is about 6 months old but it is still a miniture about 2 feet tall only. I lived in Asia and stay at 15th storey high and I think the plant got extreme heat during April - June period.Quote:

Hi Max...
IF it is not already in a 3 gallon POT, I would transplant it using a 30% Perlite 70% soil mixture. I would water her using a CHEMICAL fertilizer.. LOL... that is high in nitrogen with PH 6.5 water... I would dilute the fertilizer 2-4 times more than the directions say.. When you water.. thoroughly water,, use 1/2 - 1 gallon of water and let the container sit in the run off (from the drain holes).. You should only need to water evey 5-10 days using this method..
