I like Cypress Hill. Mostly all of their songs are about weed, so it's all good. My personal favs are "Mr. Greenthumb" and "Hits From the Bong."

I'm back into Pink Floyd, I forgot how awesome they are. I also have been listening to some of Roger Waters stuff, Amused to Death is a nice ride. NE1 know any recent bands who sound like Pink Floyd.

I was watching this psychedelic screen-saver called "Trippin" while listening to The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" and I totally got the Beatles. I just liked their music before, but man, That was the best freaking cd to listen to.
"Blue Jay Way" with all the colors swirling, man, it was fantastic.

Fast enough for you- phish It sounds like a normal, kind of calm country like tune normally but I was listening to it stoned and I just blew my mind. the way it was recorded and how it just feels like a giant pillow. youve got to listen to it, stoned or not.

I agree, post "Rubber Soul" Beatles albums are awsome. but blue jay way gives me the creeps when I listen to it stoned. it always gives me paranoia. Sgt. Peppers is the way to go.

Heh, I know what you mean about paranoia in some songs though. Some songs about pot that I LOVE normaly, (JNJ, Cypress Hill) Just creep me the fuck out and mess with my head.

The Doors - Riders on The Storm, I absoloutley love the fucking intro, so soft and peaceful, yet so intense. Also Kottonmouth Kings - Planet Budtron.

I love anything Pink Floyd, gin and juice by snoop is really chill, Numb by linkin Park. and really you dont need to be a fan but system by In Flames is awsome in my opinion. Green Day and Billy Talent are also sweet.

Steve Reich is the trippiest shit I've heard to date (check out the 13 minute mind-bender, "come out").

A not-too distant second is probably Boards of Canada (music has the right to children album).
Also love the peaceful freakiness of Animal Collective (sung tongs.)

Obviously everyone thinks their own tastes are supreme, but give any of this a try - you won't be disappointed. (just don't be in a hurry to listen to Reich).

i don't know what the best is. I listen to lots of noise while stoned. Black Dice has been a favorite lately. Also, of course, The Beatles (for obvious reasons). Jefferson Airplane can be good (white rabbit comes to mind). Joy Division is great for reflecting and feeling nice and tranqui and whatnot. Lately i've also been giving lots of classical music a try. real good shit, especially beethoven. it's the music for intellectuals. when i'm stoned and listen to classical music, i feel the music. I find that Classical music is great because there are no words to take away from the actual music being played. It is open for interpretation, and while stoned this is very ... how should i say, enlightening if not amazing.

IanCurtisWishlist, if you're into classical check out Steve Reich. His Music For 18 Musicians album is well worth the $15.

Its 'minimalist,' so you might have to adjust your idea of any time-music relationship to really enjoy it.

Also check out the film Amadeus if you haven't already. Its a perfect combo of great classical music and great film while you're blazed.
