i lost my thread :rolleyes: so ill start a new one considering my 1st thread sucked so anyhow heres the update we are a day shy of week 3 flower i had 2 plants one was male....bummer
so far so good i added some 10-50-10 today at 1/4 strength she is still stretching a bit hopefully ill have enough hieght otherwise im gonna have to build another cab right away but she is under a 150watt HPS and seems to be doing great any comments welcome

checked on them this morning before work and she took those nutes quite well she was stretching those leaves towards the light looking quite happy cant wait to check on her when lights come on at 10pm :)

150watt hps with heat shield and PC fan tho i think i need a better fan for the future its cold here now but during veg in july was super frigging hot
i just dont get it aside from the 2 people that did post i have recieved no help here since the day i started my plants i dont know what the hell the comminitys problem is here but its rare someone will help out a new grower all this talk about how people who smoke herb are friendly does not apply to this forum.
it seems to me if you are a first grower help here disappears i have seen countless threads go unanswered so i try to help out as much as i know but what can one do when its also thier first time, i have done all the research and everything i have had almost no problems this whole grow from reading and im glad i did or my plants would be dead.
when i had my first problem(yellowing) no one helped or answered me so i had no choice but to figure it out on my own i guess i expected too much from here!
Don't feel bad bro. I have started quite a few threads and have had the same results on this board, but when I hang out on the other board that I am part of I can get responses in minutes allot of the time. I think that one thing is we don't have allot of traffic in hear compared to other boards and many who are still on hear since the sale of the board are first time, or really new growers and it is hard to give advise when you are still trying to figure out the basics.
The reason I don't post on many topics especially the ones with pics is because of my vision. I still do try to help. Just do what you do, research, research and more research. That is I have learned about 90% of what I know, there aint any schools offering classes in this so it is really a form of art, a Gipsy trade.
Well, good luck and maybe look around for another place to hang out with along with this board. I have found that that helps me when I am frustrated about the lack of feedback. Also sometimes we just need to be humble, I may not have an interesting grow or a question someone feels like they want to take the time to answer even though I think that the gang should be knocking down the door to click my pics it just may not be the case.

yeah i hear ya at any rate the plants look excellent never thought i would make it this far with no problems really i guess researching so long really paid off i already started buy parts for my new bigger cab yesterday :)

im not sure of its size its a old dresser gutted out id guess its about 48H 36W 24D i bought 2x150watt hps lights but with the old cab i can only run one so the other is still new in its box.
i bought a 250Cfm fan yesterday as the 150's are not over all that hot i exhaust my cab now with a simple PC fan so this should work im debating going with cool tubes so the plants can touch the light if they get that big.
home depot has some stuff called reflectix its like mylar except way more dorable and cheaper, i already have both reflectors made actually all i need is a front door the actual building part will take but a few hours to do.
other than that the plan seems to be reasonable i may invest into a 400watt but maybe ill abuse the 150's for a few grows then give them away......

answered after a while Im sure someone will get around to it.
Plus looking up the answers yourself is better because some people
that answer growing questions here are not always right or have no
idea what they are talking about. And going by something that is wrong
could really fuck your grow up. There is also a lot of people here that
give out great advice you just have to find out who those are.
Your grow looks great maybe people didnt think you needed help :D
hey thanks it means alot and i researched growing for a year before i gave it a shot i read everything most of all peoples problems cause those were going to be my problems and im glad i did so many hours of reading.
hell maybe your right maybe i dont need help but i wanted to share my excitement with others as i cant share this with anyone i know :(

I looked at your thread a few times. Your post has more views than most threads on this page. I didn't see a need to post cause your plants look AWESOME and you did not ask any questions. I have a thread going called "white widow pic". Go take a look at it, and tell me what you think. Don't worry about us waving our palm palms at you. If your plants were having a problem, I'm sure we would come through for you. For your first grow, you seem to be doing a great job :thumbsup:
As long as your smoke is good, than be thankful for this site cause it's probably where you got most of your info. If you knock people on here, they won't want to help you later. Reading is best cause most all the answers you may need are already on this site. Keep putting up those pics and bumping up the thread and we'll see how you're doing. Great Job :stoned:
invision i get what you are saying here mate i try my best to answer what questoins i can but blue bear had already got there .i can only get on every now and again but as yabatab said you seem to be doing fine for a new grower well done mate. and i will certainly be looking in incase i can help out with something.be safe the postman.

actually passthat i learned it all on overgrow when i started growing however OG was gone :( but anyways i wouldnt knock this site it has great info but seems if your not in the click your on your own which is ok i learned alot faster that way as of last night she is getting huge i was too tired for pics but will get some here by tonight after 10pm.
dont get me wrong im not pissed at anyone here otherwise i wouldnt try and help the newbs cmon guys help out those newbs they are the future of growing :)
Dont know what has happened on this site lately. it never used to be like that . it used to be a fight to help new growers out . i have been around this site for a while as i change my name every 6 months and this is my 5th name i think. everyone knows my others. i think cause i announced them at the time of changing (its a paranioa thing lol) but anyway we used to have threads with like 300 posts and stuff they are very far and few between but that doesnt seem to happen anymore .when a new grower comes on and asks for help he gets told to read first . it used to be that his questoins were andswers and after he was advised to read the faqs then come back with his questoins but now its just a straight out .TRY READING. maybe it is the more experianced growers just get fed up answering the same questoins.i cant remember how many times i have answered the same questoins over and over again but thats what its all about passing on what you have learned to help new growers imo anyway ive moaned enought lol.the postman.

Like I said, you probably learned alot from people that post on this site. I came from overgrow as well, so what I'm saying is that alot of people on this site posted info on the overgrow site that you learned from. If you don't get your questions answered, keep reading up and keep asking the questions and you'll be ok. I just painted half my grow room with flat white paint last night and will do the other half tonight. I have the opportunity to grow much more than I am cause of the size of the room. I'm trying to make it completely stealth. I want to be able to grow even when I have guests staying at my house which I will soon have again. My guests usually stay for a couple of weeks so it makes it hard, but I'm working on it. I get it to where it needs to be, all I need to stop in and water every couple of days. Peace
couple weeks hell with that id kick'em out alot sooner but doing a whole room is going to be hard man id be curious whats behind the door but good luck with that.
i dont mind researching myself i do this everyday at work and when i come home cause if i didnt they would die, im sharing my grow with everone i dont really think i need help at this point so far growing herb has been a very nice experience and very easy to me this is now my new enjoyment.
the new cab may go into effect soon so i can get 2x150 watt HPS on the single plant to increase her yeild i need a door......hmmmmm
i agree with u 1000x times invision. growing herb is my pride and joy now. i actually just started reading about it 2 months ago. i started my grow 1 month after. u could say i rushed into it, but i crammed as much info as i could b4 i started my grow. i get frustrated to when my thread goes un answered but its the way things go. ill def be givin this thread some of my time. keep at it man ur plants look great! and ur new cab will be so much fun just wait and see =]. i actually get excited for ppl when i hear there gonna build new things to grow in. anways gl and good work. stop by my thread one day if ya get a chance and see how much beter ur first grow is going compared to mine. itll make ya smile =]. <3 u all

well here she is as of now just watered her with calmag plus nothing else added i always use this stuff its great cant lose using it i think she is almost done with her stretching now she will hopefully fill in she hasnt grown much in a few days maybe 3inches hope the cola gains in size.:thumbsup:
it will fill in...you still have at least another month of flowering right? They'll get fat as your wrist I hope. Looks like you did a nice job with the lst too. Can't wait to see it progress over the next few weeks.:thumbsup:

wow invision thats one healthy looking female.. so u didnt top that at all.. if not.. thats a great lst job..and i feel you about doing all the research.. i read for atleast 6 months before dropping my first bean... and even then it was only some bagseed..now that i got that one outta the way i started with some real beans.. btw What strain is that? nice trichs fillin in there..

lol wow good job..yeah a 300 would be nice .. but u will get decent results with the 150.. especially since you are keeping it nice and close.... on my first grow i pulled like a half O from one plant using just 2 cfl's lol i think ull have much better luck with a 150
well thing is i already have another 150 complete just no room for it bummer oh well and damn does she look good tonight the smell of her drives me crazy i need to smoke some and thank god im not dry :dance:

I am curious as to what you yield from that keep us posted.. First time grower here as well.... I made the mistake of not lst'ing my plant and she is already almost 3.5' tall. I am using 400 hps and some cfls underneath....she is doing great but getting big. I have a big closet but...damn..

she stinks man, like stinks so bad in a good way though i bumped into the top bud by accident and she released this awsome piney pungent oder it was amazing just have to be more careful in the future :)
lol i know exactly what smell your talking about.. my first grow with bagseed smelled like that.. and now i got the ice which isnt smelling as potent as i thought it would nor as pungent as the bagseed plant...
trust me i wish she didnt smell so bad somedays but she had my back yesterday as the gas company came by to relight the hotwater heater pilot i was freaking what to do and decided fuck it worst case senerio ill act like i just smoked up so he came and the basement didnt smell like a damn thing :confused:
i was like wow plants got my back now if popo shows up and she hides herself for me im marrying her but i shit you not later that night my friend came by and went jesus how much pot did you smoke tonight it wreaks lol :thumbsup:

how long did you veg to train your plant, and how many days into flower are you..?
i vegged her for a month and started training her at 2 weeks every 2 days or so i would tie down the main cola even with the grow shoots then 1 week before and 1 week into flower i trained all the branches outward then cut all ties at week 3 :D
i havent seen her in 2 days i was camping relaxing away from this life its awesome there but ill see how she is doing at 10pm lights on im cossing my fingers i fed her before i left hopefully i dont see no burns or anything else bad
forgot to add she is at 34 days flower
here she is havent seen her in 2 nights she looks great took that feeding no problem think i my move up to 1/3 strength next watering seems she can take it no signs of burn ive also noticed 2 more bud sites coming up to join the crew so i have 14 bud sites and the main cola :dance:
