Contact lenses = hell

Omfg, I cant see right. So I'm trying to put in some contact lenses so I can see in school. Problem is I can NOT get the sonnofabitches in or out. The doctor had to take them in and out and the employee had to convince him to let me take them home to practice for 2 weeks. First week ran out and I cant fuckin get these things in!!!!! I'm now afraid to get them in cuz I know I wont get them out. What the fuck! Some one help please. Sorry I'm going mad.

lol ya i had the same problem...i never wore glasses in school cause they made me look like a nerd , an i guess u could say i was part of the in crowd...so senior in high school and i get an eye exam...seems my eyes are pretty fuckin bad...theyre like u want glasses or contacts...im like fuck the the glasses man...so i get the contacts and the 'sobs' wont go in...it takes me like 45minutes to get 1 in...and now i cant get th other in...my eyes are blopod shot and everyone thinks im high...im like fuck it...give me the glasses...and now i wear glasses...i never knew how blind i was till i started wearing em :p

Yeah same, I guess these arent just made for everyone. I just get hella pissed when I cant accomplish something though.

look its nothin, ur eyes will get used to then and u wont hurt. First 2 weeks is like hell i know but now, after 5 years waring cantacts, i can to it with no mirror and like 2secs to put each. Just dont give up on them thinkin that u might hurt ur eyes or something. No one can put em for the first time and feel nothin, its normal that u will feel weird the first month

lol its just wierd for me putting something on something as sensitive as my eyeball...i dunno the lady that gave me the contacts said it was easier for chick to put in cause they always put make up on close to the eye and stuff...or something like that ...i wasnt really listening i was being overwhelmed with the frustration tryin to put the god damn things in :p

I went through the exact same thing.
Solution: (I now wear glasses, but for other reasons, I like being able to take them off and on in an instant, less hassle, and they make me look SmarT) But anyways, for contacts, Initially, they will hurt like FUCK. You HAVE to get over that, it takes at least a full day for your eyes to feel comfortable wearing them. Also, the biggest, most important tip that the doctors seem to not be aware of: While you're putting them in, place a drop of solution inside the bowl, before you even put them in. If your eyes are dry, put some in your eyes beforehand as well.

i would rather just wear glasses because i would never be able to put those in. i hate putting shit in my eyes i cant even do eye drops

i had the same problem it would take me hours 2 put them in but after a month it would take me no longer than 5 sec. u just gotta keep practicing, youll eventually get it

keep trying, its hard at first but now I can do it blindfolded... well you get it.

yeah at first i couldnt do it, but now i can do it in record time and there arent any worries! itll take a bit but then youll be happy you got them

It was hard for me at first, youll get used to it.

plus a good thing is the smoke cant hurt your eye cause you have plastic stuff over it, genius!

damn i have been wearing contacts for a few years and it takes one try each eye 5 seconds total to exchange contacts in or out. it just takes practice

ha, i just got those same exact ones about a week ago aswell. :)

basically, just take your right and and put the lense on your pointer finger and then hold the bottom eye lid open with your right hand middle finger, and take your left hand and old the upper lid open and poke your ball with your pointer finger (which has the lense on it). if it doesn't stick just readjust it and try again.

they don't hurt me anymore, and i've had them in since i've had them. the doctor said you can sleep with them for the 2 weeks before you throw them out. and i dunno if you've tried smoking with them in yet but it can get pretty fucking uncomfortable. :(

EDIT: oh yeah and to get them out just kinda pinch (SLIGHTLY... dont take your ball with the lense ha) the lense... say like you were pulled hair off your arm. that make any sense?

Just use glasses!! That way, I can call you 4 eyes.

Yeah, contacts must suck.. I don't have them, my eye sight is perfect:D Just been to the doctors to check them out.. Perfect vision:D

It's all practice man, 8 years ago I was just like you... now I can put in/take out my contacts in the dark with no mirror on the first try everytime.

really? i dont even notice them when im blazed, or even ever. thats fucked up man, maybe you put them in the wrong way? i find it gets uncomfortable that way. just a suggestion.

just get laser surgery.....:p

Haha, its so easy to put in contacts. I got mine in first try at the eye doctors place, there even easier to take out.

im with orange...hostipals and needles freak the fuck outta me...even when im just getting blood taken...(i used to have to sit on my moms lap untill i was like 12 or 13 :p)

Lol meh, I never liked the hospital environment and I dont think I ever will. Out of all the shit I'm not afraid of the dentists and doctors scare me most with their friendly behavior, looking at their notepad and writing stuff down and breathin through their nose then looking up and smiling at me and going "i'll be right back" and I'm alone in that office just waiting. Hearing kids crying next door, my heart begins to beat and they come in with their gloves in their shirt pocket. WHY DIDNT THEY PUT THE GLOVES ON BEFOR THEY COME IN!? Then they slap on the gloves and put some cleaning shit on my arm. And thump the needle and AHHH! Lol...omfg sorry lol. I got a little...too into it there :p.

I have glasses, and I don't wear em. Don't really need them much, only helps when im burnt as hell and everything is blurry. I tried contacts as a substitute, and after about 30 mins in the morning for a week, I gave up, and never touched them again.

The first time I had contacts in my eyes I was too scared so my friend did it for me. That wasn't fun, I think it's worse to have someone stick their finger in your eyes. Anyway it's so easy now! They get dry and itchy when i'm baked >.<

yeah they feel fine other wise though, so i dunno

I have a stigmatism so when I'm baked my freaking contacts fall right out.

It's actually a cool feeling but kinda annoying, it's like they flicker in my eye and I have to blink so they'll go back on.

its kinda like riding a bike.

it's gonna be hard at first... then once you get a hang of it you go do it without trying.
