Well...I was wondering did any of you believe the theory that California will eventually fall in the ocean?

I as far as I know we're ditching America, I wish it would happen alot faster though (like in my lifetime). With the worlds 5th largest economy we'll be way cooler than your poor shitty country
Maybe hundreds (possibly even thousands) of years from now I believe it could eventually happen.
I think that since global warming is happening i dont think cali will seperate.. i think the icecaps will melt and all coastal areas will be underwater.. about 100 miles into land depending on hight...that means most of cali..all of the east coast..and most of mexico.. and yada yada...but if that happens only about 45% of american will be above land... YAY MORE COASTAL HOUSES..but yeah..that whould suck balls
So does anyone think global warming is gonna continue? :p
I really do.. If humanity dosnt stop it will happen..we WILL go into another ice age... the planet will become unstable.. we will have to move to mars and impopulate a race of gilled humans.. But the gasses that everything puts out..it will continue..there alrdy is a hole in the north pole..look at maps online its rather big..
I really hope we don't start collonizing other planets.Quote:

global warming will continue but not because of wat we do, sure we may impact it a small amount but it doesnt matter, the world goes thro its turns.... i mean do u think humans created the end of the ice age? shit happens and its somewhat arrogent imo that people seem to think that they control everything in the world...
just look at the hurricane season, last year everyone was like omg global warming is what caused this horrible season! katrina was a direct result of global warming... but look at this season (knock on wood) there hasnt rlly been anything that big, jsut some minor hurricanes which didnt cuase tremundous damage... plus i think ppl forget that alot of damage in new orleans wasnt cause directly from katrina but from the levis failing.... so if katrina had hit another city there may not have as much of a problem....
Hopefully san fransico will, im jeaolus of there medical mj.
I hope it does ... I live up in the mountains, can't afford the beachfront ... :D
No. California isn't going to "fall into the ocean". The tectonic plate on which the western part of California lies is sliding north. Eventually it will separate and head up towards Alaska.
I really hope it doesn't because I live in Laguna Beach (socal) and think it is one of the greatest places on earth. But in the bible God says that if we ever turn our backs on Israel we should get away from the coasts! Funny what's going on in the news these days!;)Quote:

Once again, hopefully not. But if you've seen "An Inconveinent Truth" the facts are hard to ignore.:(
I think New York and New Jersey is going to fall into the ocean, which will make house ocean front property, making me rich...
dude, wtf are you talking about?! the ozone hoe is closing up and will be completely shut by like 2025.Quote:

long island is supposed to sink too
i am in california, east bay area, if what they say is true, the bay would over fill, and houses even further than 100 miles from coast would submerge, but i like to go with the idea that by the time i die, ill be able to take a ferry boat to alaska, hahah. would be nice, shit, hawaii can come too, us 3 would be a hella kickass country, screw america, HAH!
could you imagine? one day one CNN, "Flood warning for california, oregan, and alaska coasts. evacuate!!"
i think that we have a better chance that california, hawaii, and alaska`s state government will all declare independince from america to go start our own democracy, before any coastal disaster like that happens...(crosses fingers)
It's like that movie waterworld, only interesting.
If it happens, I'll die with california. Not on purpose, I'd just probably be the last to know what was going on.
humanity is doomed...even if we somehow found a way to mars...wed probally use it as a dump site for all our fuckin trash rather than using it to live on...Quote:

i dont care what happens... lol i make a point to help destroy the enviorment..
we'll blow each other up before this happens...

I think it'd be kinda funny....
I think about California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii leaving the US and forming their own nation on a daily basis. You and I sir share the same dream.Quote:

eeyaaah!! oregon and washington? they can all just move to california and fill up all those lame farm towns. as for alaska, no one likes snow in their vagina.Quote:

This is the most likely scenario to be seen first. Someone pointed out global warming and the melting of the ice caps. IMO, that will eventually happen much later and probably make swamp land out of the lowest lying areas.Quote:

LOL thats so fuckin funny. If that really happens to California though I dont mind it. It seems pretty harmless :).Quote:

Edgar Cayce, the "sleeping prophet", prophecized many prophecies that came true such as WWI, the rise of Hitler, the dropping of Little Boy on Hiroshima, etc, etc. BUt, he also Prophecized that CA, New York City, and most of the gulf states would fall into the waters. Honestly i can trust this guy.
California, as Tool protrayed it, is a hell hole, and we all need to LEARN TO SWIM!
If the ice caps melted, the water level would stay the same, because the ice displaces water anyways.Quote:

Damn right we are causing it. It might stop who the fuck knows, ill be one to admit i havent done all that much research on it. And for the hurricanes...uhh there have been just as many, they just arent hitting land. And the hurricanes are also related to hurricane seasons, which ended last year, and wont be back for 10 more. But yea thats my 2 cents on that.Quote:
