HYDRO PROBLEM, HEEEELP!!!!!!!

System: Hydroponic, ebb and flow, 40 liters tapp wather. Nutrients canna substra flores. Day temp 26-28 Celzius. Nitgh temp 22-24 C. PH 5,7-6,1. Nutrient temp 22-23 C. Humidity 55-60 %. Ligth 400 hps. EC tryed 1,6-2,0. After 4 days of flowering the problem acured.
I thougth it was a nutrient burn, so I took EC down to 1,3 - 1,6 , that did not help. Using magnesium (epson salt). EC of the pure wather is 0,06. Wathering every hour for 5 min, have a sirculating pump in solution. Problem acure 4-5 days in to flowering, after two weeks it gets worse. Buds are very tiny. Have had the same problem for 5 harvests. I have tryed a number of things, but nothing is helping my plants. I am out of ideas. (Newbe in hydro)

Pictures where taken 6 days into flowering. Notised the problem 4 days into flomwering. Growing Blueberry, K2 , Blue Mystic , and some cross that I got from a friend (Shiva Shanti X Big Bud) and she is doing the best of them all.

Now they are 2 weeks in to flowering, and they are not god. I´m spraying them with magnesium for to days now, but no result.

Well I read your 1st post again and I can say...You should add airstones to your rez for more oxygen.

What kind of medium are you growing in.
usually ebb and flow growers water 15 minutes on every 2 hours.

Your whole problem could be the medium and the water schedule. Get back to me, I'll try to help.

I tried a lot of different water schedule, everyting from every 3 h for 10-30 min, and every 2 h for 12-15min, but no result. That way I desided to try every h for 5-7 min. I have a pump in the res for better circulation of oxygen. And the medium, I dont know how u call it on english, but stons are light with a lot of houles. I`ll take a picture. Thanks for helping

What in your tap water?Try useing distilled water.What kind of nutrs are you useing? If useing a grow/boost/bloom nutrs are you putting the boost in frist?
You could be locking up the nutrs and the plant is takeing up alot of the salts
and locking out the rest.I had some of my girls start to trun yellow.I used
Revive by advanced nutrients and that fixed them.But be sure to mix the boost in the water frist. hope this helps .keep us posted on how it does.

Our tapp water is soft, (EC 0,06), and I read that soft water contains less then 50 milligrams of calcium per liter and should be supplemented with calcium and magnesium, just thinking to try this. In the past we tryed to boil water, and use water filters, and to change nutrients from Canna Substra to General Hydroponics, but no result. With General Hydroponics it was even worse so I`m back to Canna Substra. For now dont use any bloom boost, using canna zym, rhizotonic and epson salt. Just got a hold of aditional calcium, mag and potasium, from canna. And have pk 13-14 to use in 5 week of flowering.
Changing solution today, will try to add calcium and mag. And I´l change watering schedule. Thanks

Have you ever flushed for a day or 2 just to clean them out...and then add new mix.

Lots of people flush in transition...It doesn't hurt you or stress the plants either...they feed off stored elements, if there is no nutes in the water. later

I was flushing them in the past just when I was changing solution. And I change solution every 7-8 days.... So after 8 days I was flushing for a 1-2 hours, then added new mix....but again did not help so I stopt doing that.....a friend told me that is not nesecery to flush them because I change solution every week...but I´m open to try anything just to save my girls....one more thing, in veg stage they don´t show a signes of deficiencies.

My two cents is really only worth about 1/4 cent but I think I'd use the Cal/Mag. I use it with R/o water and seem to get a pretty quick shift in the plants if I don't have enough in the water. Just a thought.....

Changed the solution today, 33 l water, and added 1,5 ml calcium and 1,5 ml mg. EC of tap water after adding cal and mg was 0,15. Added 75 ml canna zym , 15 ml R. And 110 ml canna substra A and B. EC of solution was 1,6, PH at 5,8.

where did you get those rocks...they look like they came out of a driveway or something...What's Up? LOL

you definitely overferted and caused a salt/toxidity problem
might be some fungus...they ar epretty torn up. If you do have a fungus problemit would be from something, like maybe dirty rocks from outside. If you bought new rocks, then let's stick with the toxidity problem. you are now doing just about all you can do.

I bought rocks in the shop, offcourse.....and my friend uses them with great sucses.....and I wash them good beafore using.....How is it posible to overfert when I´m keeping EC under 2,0???? There was no change from last night, they are still getting worse. Ph this morning was 5,6 and Ec 1,71. Thanks for your help.....

did ya sort it out bro? i have had same thing happen to me in 2 different locations, first time it fucked me big time and after tryin everything i finallly moved, started creepin in again after a grow and a half in new joint and i was ready to head for a tall building.

old timer i met online suggested i add food grade ozone to my water 3 x 5mins a day or equilivant as long as no more than 15/day. was skeptical at first but my girls are back to full health now and boomin.

as to the source of the problem after eliminating almost everything, i tried every different combonation and remedy and then some i can only put it down to a bacteria build up. i use silver tape on my buckets as well as duct tape round the hole in the lid for the netpot. i noticed under both lots of tape there was black bacteria buildin up that h202 and other shit just didn;t seem to knock down, ozone whilst not removing it seems to kill any nasties associated with it.

not sure if it'll help in your situation but your symptoms and description are exactly the same xcept mines dwc and i'm not sure where the bacteria is coming from in your gig.

I didn't say overfert I said toxidity. that can build up in your medium.

On the subject of flushing. flushing for 1-2 hours is a waste of time. If you have problems and want to clean out the toxidity problem in a plant you flush with water for 1-2 days...not hours. looks like you are doing OK.

Your small bud problem over 4-5 grows could be not enough light. peace
